Before After

Getting there, one pound at a time

Well,

It seems like this is taking a lot longer then it should.  But then I stop and realize you only get out of it what you put in to it.  I dont do a lot of cardio exercise, for one, it's hard on my knees and my back so I avoid it.  I do a lot of walking which is just fine for me.  I know that 1 or 2 pounds coming off my butt at a time is better then 5 or 6 pounds going on my thighs...LOL

Anyways, my eating this weekend wasnt what I wanted it to be, I wasnt feeling good so I did not get all the walking in last week.  I only walked 2 days the whole week...but back to it this week.  I craved chocolate last week and sweets and I wanted to eat everything in the house.  I had a couple of the ww snacks and some yogurt and that more or less curbed the craving.  I cooked the family shrimp last night - fried of course - I had mine boiled, but I did sneak one tiny piece of fried shrimp and it wasnt as good as I remembered it - way too greasy.

I am back at it this week - have big plans for the weekend so I have to save all my extra points for Saturday :-)

Hello!

You are doing awesome. 1 or 2 pounds at a time is the best way to lose weight because it stays gone. Boiled shrimp sounds so good. I prefer it that way, to fried. Boiled and then dipped in cocktail sauce- YUM!!! Ok, now you've made me hungry... LOL!

Walking doesn't get the credit it deserves sometimes- it is excellent exercise! I lost all the weight from both my pregnancies by walking. Now I've added in use of the elliptical machine, which my knees don't mind and I am slowly adding in running- when I do too much of that, my knees definitely let me know!!
