I can tell it's working...

Got Hydrochlorot yesterday for my elevated BP and massive water weight issues.  I can tell it's working already.  How?  I was up 3x last night going potty!  Normally I can sleep thru, but not no more!  I also lost over 2lbs since yesterday!  *yahoo*

Lost a few...

....no not pounds.  Days of motivation!  I really need to get my butt back into gear.  I've gained back almost all of that that I had lost last week.

Going in today to talk to the doc about WLS and my options.  If anyone has gone thru this and would like to share pros & cons or their recovery, etc. I'm open to hearing about it.

Bad few days.

Bad few days.  Massive stress.  I eat when I'm stressed.  Found out my husband is leaving for 30 days.  I cannot do anything but eat eat and eat. 

I am motivated to lose at least 10 more pounds (hopefully) while he's gone.  He leaves on Friday.  I am going to miss him terribly!  Who does he think he is leaving me with these three kids?  He might come home to only one *giggle*

Saturday - 6/9/07 - Food Log

Breakfast:

Nothing I forgot to grab something on the way out the door.

Lunch:

Taco Salad w/salsa & sour cream

Sm Handful of Corn Torilla Chips

Dinner:

Sm salad (lettuce, tomato, red onion,  cucumber, cheese)

1/2 c. Cottage cheese

4 tbsp dressing (ff ranch & french)

2 slices of pizza *blush*

Drinks:

14 c water

2 Dt. Sodas

Motivation

I know I'm going to need this for the next 4 weeks.  So I thought I'd write it down now.

Going to be rough

This weekend is going to be rough with my daughters ballet recital, my mom home, and massive stress.  But I have to be good.

I want to keep seeing drops in that scale even further!!  I want to be down to my goal by August 17 - which is our family reunion.  I know I wont be to my final goal, but my first one would be good!

Friday - 6/8/07 - Food Log

Snack (1am)

3 Chicken Breasts grilled w/salt free seasoning

Breakfast:

Nothing

Lunch:

Western Whopper from BK  **blush**

2 fries

Dinner:

3 chicken breast grilled

little bbq & tiny mayo

Snack:

1 serving of fruit snacks (100% juice)

Thursday - 6/7/07 - Food Log

Breakfast:

1 Special K Meal Replacement Bar

Lunch:

Hot Pocket Calzone

Snack:

Shared Fruit & Yogurt cup w/the 2 vultures

4 servings of Rice Quakes (I couldn't stop!)

Dinner:

Chicken Tenders LC Meal w/stuffing & mashed taters

Feeling Better Today

After getting on the scale again this morning and seeing 331.4 I'm EXCITED!!

Now I just need to find something to help with the fluid retention I have during the day.  I can tell I'm holding in an ungodly amount of fluid in my legs.  Yesterday it was so bad that they were tingling.  Anyone know of a NATURAL diuretic?  I'd rather eat something (wouldn't we all) instead of taking pills.

Still hungry

So I was still hungry tonight after eating a chicken breast - so instead of filling up on junk food (which has been screaming at me all day) I had another HALF breast w/noodles & sauce.

Have to get up early again tomorrow even though my daughter is done with school for the summer.  I'd give ANYTHING to sleep in until NOON!  LOL
