Joined The Challeng -- Did you?
I joined the WOMAN challenge back just before Mother's Day. Did you?
Besides today (Thursday) I'd been able to log at least 20minutes of walking. Now I just have to take it easy for a few days. Maybe I'll still be able to make my goal this week.
Wow it's been a little...
I'm feeling a little discouraged. I've been naugty for a week. Although when I hopped on the scale this morning it said 332.6 (7:30am) but then by 8:15am it said 337.4. How in the hell could I have gained 5 pounds in 45 minutes?
I know I need to start working on getting rid of this water weight.
I went into the doctor this morning for ankle pain. Seems I have achilles tendonitus in my left foot. Which makes it a total PIA to do any walking at night with my daughter.
Another thing I'm kind of pissed about that they didn't even adress in the slightest was the fact that my BP was 134/87. Hello? Pre-hypertension anyone? Grrrr! So now I have to add that to my worry list.
Went Shopping Tonight
Bought a lot of good snacks - proud of myself. Found quite a few 100 calorie snack packs. WooHoo!!
Ahhh!!! Refreshed!
Got in a nap today. Guess sleeping from4am until 7am is just not enough. Hubby let me lay down for a few hours. I feel much better. I love when he's home during the "winter" it's nice to be able to catch little naps here and there. Not having to worry about taking care of Thing 1 & Thing2.
Changed MyFirst Goal
I decided to change it to10% of my body weight. Granted it's right close to where I was, but that's ok.
Lots of weight?
I have yet to find any blog on here (maybe I'm not looking right) with anyone trying to lose as much as I am. If you read this and are trying to lose as much as I am in the long run (over 200lbs) please let me know. I'm feeling alone in a big sea of blubber.
Got in a work out!!
Ok so I'm not a big fan of working, but I got in a small workout this morning.
10 minutes (Warm Up & Little In) of my Walking Away The Pounds vieo.
I have to go slow with that because I could hear my hips, knee, and ankles click with each step, but I stuck with it until I became really winded.
Another thing------> 336.6 pounds today!!

1 smore brownie (.5"x1" section)
4 glasses water
1 small salad
2 tbs Ranch Dressing
2 burritos w/works (lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, sour cream, gauc, olives, hot sauce)
3 glasses Cranberry Crystal Light
A Good Few Days...
I did good! I'm so pleased!!
My mini goal for tomorrow (if it's nice) is to go out with my daughter after she gets home from Girl Scouts for a 1 mile walk. It could kill me, but at least we'd be close to the house for her to go get daddy & the car LOL
I've had a few challenges these last few days, but I've just overpowered "gut" and said no way. I did give in and buy myself a Double Cheeseburger from McDonalds the other day, but left it in the bag with my dads burger so he took it to his house instead. After ordering it I questioned my judgement and decided I didn't need it.
I need to lose at least 20lb by August to feel happy with myself.
Tomorrow is a weigh in day (I do it every other day). Eventually I will stop and just do once a week, but I need the extra motivation right now. So far so good. I got on the scale this evening and saw another couple of pounds gone so morning will really tell.
