new scale!

We got a great new scale yesterday! IT's one of those fancy ones that does the Body Fat %, Body Water %, Bone Mass, and Body Muscle %.

Our last scale only did weights in .5lb increments, and this one does it in .2 so it's more exact. But b/c of that, I had to go in and edit yesterdays weigh-in number so that it was from the new scale... it went up .8lb.

Then I weighed in this morning and lost 1.8lbs! YAY! Off the plateau!

 

Yesterday was my first day calorie counting, and I didn't do horrible.

I hope to start our walking this weekend to start our C25K program, but we'll see if I can find some decent running shoes for cheap.

my first plateau

i think i've hit my first plateau.

2 days now and no loss.That's a bummer.

I'm going to add in the www.womenshealthmag.com/fitplan workout routine, and JR and I plan on starting C25K sometime this weekend. Wish me luck!

shame on me

JR and I went out for Sweetheart Blasts at Sonic Last night. Basically raspberry icecream with chocolate chips and white chocolate hearts filled with raspberry filling. (I know, sounds yummy, right?)

We both got larges and ate all of them

This morning neither of us lost any weight and we immediately thought "damn.. had i just not had that icecream, I probably would have lost a half lb!"

Needless to say, we didn't splurge today.

It's been one week

And I'm down 7.5lbs in that week.

Pretty Exciting!

Today was Jr's 2nd day *really* participating in this dieting/working out thing. Granted, he didn't work out at all, but he's been watching what he eats (and drinks - which is big for him b/c he's a soda FREAK), and he's doing pretty good. he's lost his 2lbs that he'd gained in the last week, and i think he's really realizing the kind of sacrafices he's going to have to make to do this.

I'm super proud of him b/c I know it's tough to give up things you are used to having all the time.

We agreed tonight that whoever loses has the buy the other person somethin good. I said I wanted a membership to a tanning salon *giggle*.

And I've got 7.5 lbs on him already, so I guess we'll see who wins :D

prepregnancy jeans!

I'm back in my prepreg jeans! I still have about 6lbs left to lose, but yesterday I put on my jeans from Charlotte Russe that I wore before I got pregnant with Lily! They were even comfortable enough to wear to watch the superbowl in!

maybe i should pump

this morning I weighed myself while Lily was sleeping, before eating and before pumping (and i was F.U.L.L.). I weighed in at 157.5. I TM'd my husband and told him "you'll never catch up now. lost 2 more lbs". He wrote back "you sucka chucka! lol. love you!" (don't ask where that came from, but that's what I always say to him, lol).

Then I pumped and re-weighed and was down to 156.5. So I TM'd him again "Pumped and lost 1 more lb"

He responded "hmmm... maybe i should pump"

Another half pound!

Woohoo. I was so excited to see another 1/2lb gone this morning. It feels good to atleast be back in the 150s... Since my goal for right now is 149.5, i feel like i'm getting really close! I've been watching what I eat (not eating as many unhealthy snacks) and I'm Breastfeeding the baby which burns a lot of calories. I hope to keep this up for atleast another week or so, so I can get a good headstart on this last 10lbs!

Tracker Update

I've decided to change my tracker, since I seem to do the best with small goals. So now my tracker shows my weight when I had Lily, and the goal weight is my prepreg weight from Lily. Then once I hit that, I'll set my goal lower (closer to my real goal). My goal for losing *just* the pregnancy weight (get back to 149) is 2 months post partum.
