i feel REALLY good
I just did my first podfitness routine (a running one) and i feel GREAT. I didn't get to do the entire program b/c the sun set and i don't feel comfortable running when it's dark out on our back roads, but i got ALMOST all of it, and i did it more at my own pace since it was my first time. But it gives me something great to build up to! i'm excited!
PLUS I added .4miles onto my run, AND cut my minutes per mile by 2 full minutes! Awesome!
I hope it shows up on the scale tomorrow morning b/c I have to take tomorrow off as my parents will be coming over for dinner.

i'm so freaking sore. but it was worth it
omg, i'm SO sore from running last night. My body just isn't used to this. But I'm trying to keep the faith that it'll get used to the workout and stop rebelling against it by making me hurt.
The good news is that both times I've run, I've woken up to atleast an almost half lb loss (one of those times being this morning) so i want to keep it up.
I took a new progress pic today and posted it in my "where I am" album

another run
today was my second "run". 1.40 miles... it was parly walking, part jogging and part sprinting. I'm trying to built my way up.
Today was a long day as B has been throwing up all morning, and has been kind of lethargic all afternoon. He seems to be doing better tonight, but we shall see how the night goes.
I'm hoping my run tonight gives me atleast a .6lb loss like it did last week.

wow, that was a pleasant surprise
This morning I woke up, having lost .6lbs even after i ate WAY too much bbq last night.
So that puts me down to 151.4. I'm pretty excited. I'm still 2lbs away from my prepreg weight, but that's okay. Baby steps, right?

missed the gym... buuuuuut....
So, the gym is only open from like 8-12 on saturdays and i had a buttload of errands to run today both for work and home stuff. So I missed the whole time the gym was open. Then we went to my parents house to visit after hitting the grocery store, and ended up going out for BBQ with them for dinner tonight.
Obviously I ate way more than I should have allowed myself to.
So when I got home, I got my iPod and went for a run.
This is kind of big for me as I'm TOTALLY not a runner at all. Everytime I try to run, I get ear aches and headaches and feel so miserable that I convince myself to never run again.
Today, however is different. Well, not really, but sort of. I have an ear ache, a headache, and I feel really dizzy, BUT I'm not going to convince myself to never run again.
Instead, I'm going to give myself a week. and if by the end of 7 runs, I'm not feeling atleast SLIGHTLY less pain, THEN I will hang up the running shoes.
In the meantime, It was nice to get out and enjoy the weather for a little bit tonight... ALONE.

I should be more disappointed
Last night I didn't get to hit the gym, so my loss slowed back down a bit... but it was still a loss so i'm not horribly upset.
My husband has been having some work troubles lately and yesterday was finally our breakthrough. He was offered 2 positions yesterday and we had to have a long discussion last night about which one he would take.
In the end, I still lost .2lb for the day, so that isn't HORRIBLE.

Biggest Loser
I'm taking part in a small Biggest Loser program and yesterday was one of our last weighins. We weigh in again next monday, then the last weigh in is the following monday.
I'm not doing so well so far so I'm going to buckle down and REALLY behave for the next 2 weeks so that I have a chance of winning the $60.
If I can win that money, I'm going to set it aside to by myself some REALLY cute clothes in my new size :)
This week was my first week to be the biggest loser of the week, so that really motivated me to try harder for the next 2 weeks.

Last week
I did really well all last week. I went to the gym the rest of the week after the tornado warnings had passed, adn one day i even did a double workout. Saturday I skipped b/c I had to work in the AM and they are only open until noon, then Sunday they are closed.
Today I had every intention of hitting the gym, but JR came hom today at 3pm and woke me up from my nap to tell me that his moms husband was driving through town and wanted to stop by to have dinner with us. So tomorrow it is. :) Who knows what time, though. Lil has a Dr's appt at 4:10 tomorrow.
