Lost a pound!

Hi All,

I'm still here, just buried in paperwork this weekend.  I only exercised 10 minutes yesterday and 10 minutes today because I'm pooped and tired from working on paper and the computer.  Thanks so much for all of the encouraging comments!  You all are great!  We are really doing this!  I lost a pound too!  Yippeeeeeee!  I'm starting to recover from my junk food feast last weekend.  Hang in there!!!!

My EP Friends

I did well on my eating today except for about 200 calories in fritos that I could have done without.  I didn't get up early enough to exercise so I was determined to do that tonight.  I didn't get around to it until 8:00 p.m.  and I was tired and my allergies were bothering me.  However, I just thought about my EP friends cheering me on!  I listened to the ipod and did a mile in 20 minutes.  Toward the end of my exercise, I skipped through the slower Lyle Lovett songs and went to Rick James doing Superfreak!  You girls are great! 

Good Combination

I had a good combination today.  I did a mile on the treadmill in 20 minutes and my eating was actually very good.  I'm staying away from the scales for several days.  I love this challenge of exercising for 21 days straight!  It is starting to really motivate me!  Hang in there everyone!!!!

 

Day Two

Today was Day Two of my goal of exercising 21 Days in a row.  I exercised for 22 minutes and did a mile on the treadmill.  I didn't go very fast but I was glad I got a mile done.  My eating wasn't so good today.  I went to the Mexican restaurant and had too many chips.  I think I actually gained two pounds this week instead of the 3.4 that I thought I had.  I didn't get up early enough to exercise in the morning and I think that helps me do better with my eating.  So, tonight I plan to get to bed earlier!  Have a great week! 

Healthier Day!

Today is Day One of me exercising for 21 days straight.  I have done well with my eating today and exercised for twelve minutes.  I weighed today and the scales said I had gained 3.4 pounds from a week ago!  Surely, that's wrong!  LOL!  Oh well, this is a new week.  I bought an Oprah magazine and it has some good tips in there about losing weight.  Besides that, it kept me busy so I didn't eat!  Since I'm off of my feeding frenzy now, I feel much better.  I hope you all are having a great week! 

Ready to Roll!!!!

Ok, if I could just bottle how I feel right now, I wouldn't ever eat all of the junk food I've consumed this weekend.  I've had a headache and been congested from all of the popcorn balls, chocolate, ice cream (chocolate chip cookie dough), etc. I mean I guess I decided if I was "off the wagon", everything was legal.  Gee whiz!  I have to realize that not only does this make me gain weight (and I assure you I've gained it the last several days), it makes me feel really crummy.  So, I've got all of that out of my system for awhile and I'm ready to roll!  I'm going to start my first day of exercising tomorrow and I will exercise EVERYDAY for the next 21 days.  I will eat fruits and veggies~flavorful and good stuff.  Thanks for the words of encouragement!  

Comfort.......

I don't know what my problem is but I'm not in the mood to exercise or eat right.  I'm just in the mood for comfort.  I've been pretty busy lately but I've been busy before and didn't act like this.  I didn't exercise yesterday or today and I'm not going to tomorrow.  I'm just in the mood to eat what I want and not exert myself.  After I had the big meal Thursday night, I was hungry and eating again at 9:00 p.m.  I did pretty good yesterday on food but last night I bought a bag of these things that look like popcorn but they are made by the company that makes Cheetos!  What was I thinking?  I won't be doing that again!  I've been dreading filing a lot of stuff that I needed to at home and I got that done today and it felt good.  While I was doing that, I guess I just decided to treat myself which is not the thing to do.  Did I mention the Lindt chocolate with a touch of chili?  Ok, I'm trying to get a grip and my plan is to get it together on Monday.  I hope you all are having a great weekend!

Childhood Memories at the AQ

Ok, I was all pumped today to do well.  I was pleasantly surprised that after really messing up, I had only gained 0.2 lbs.  I exercised on the treadmill for 20 minutes this morning, and ate well all day~until supper.  I had plans on going home from work and eating half a peanut butter and honey sandwich.  Well, my husband needed to go pick up some metal roof samples in a town about 30 miles away (wanted me to go with him) and of course, we needed to eat out.  He wanted to go to the AQ Chicken House.  I hadn't been there in many years.  Our parents took us there to eat when we were kids and it was funny that we had the same experience.  Anyway, they are famous for their chicken and have won many awards.  I had chicken and dumplings and half a roll and then halved batter dipped fries dipped in honey with my husband.  It was so good.  So,  I blew it tonight but I'm pumped to get with it again tomorrow morning and I'm telling my husband~no AQ for several months at least!  Gee whiz! 

A Good Day

I had a good day today~got 8 hours of sleep, exercised for 20 minutes, and did well on my eating.  Tomorrow is WI and I will be lucky not to have a gain after my weekend of cereal and dessert pizza.  Hopefully next week, I'll have a loss!  Good luck everyone!

Battle Weapons

I did well yesterday on my eating but only exercised five minutes because I got up late.  Today, I ate ok but no exercise.  I've got to start getting to bed earlier and get eight hours of sleep.  Six isn't cutting it.  We must gather up our battle weapons for war which is The Holidays!  For me, that starts with Halloween and ends with New Years'.  To make it through the war, we must support each other.  We can do it!  I hope you all are having a great week.  I'm starting back exercising tomorrow, eating healthy, and getting enough sleep.
