The Four Day Win
I am pretty excited because I lost a pound on our trip to go visit my husband's stepdad! That has NEVER happened! For the first time ever, I was able to just have a snack for one meal each day and not feel deprived at all. My friend, 50Dreamer, and I, meet about once a week to discuss our progress and any problems we are having. Also, we talk about our game plans for the next week. We are a great support for each other. During our meetings, we discuss our strategy according to Martha Beck's book, "The Four Day Win". The author was featured on Oprah awhile back and I can't tell you what a difference this book makes. In Martha's words, "Being overweight isn't about being lazy. It's about refusing to question the reasons for our anxiety." Through Martha's book and prayer and reciting scripture when we get stressed, 50Dreamer and I are making progress-lots of progress. "The Four Day Win" isn't a Christian book. It is a book about all of the latest brain research and an easy plan about how to use that research to change your life. Check it out!
