Getting There... with sore shins!

BLAH today was horrible and BLAH there is still a whole four days to go before the weekend and BLAH I just want to hide in my bed and snuggle with Jason until next week! That would be just wonderful... what are the chances?

Food:
2 x toast w/ low fat marg and vegemite
1 x Green Apple
1 x Vanilla light Fruche yoghurt
1 x Banana sandwich (on 2 x bread)
1 x Lean Cuisine Lasagne
1 x Diet Passionfruit Crush (2cals!)

Exercise: Couch to 5k WEEK 5 (!)
I modified it a little bit today because of some leg problems, but still lasted the full 30 minutes with intervals.

5 minute warm up walk
5 minute jog
3 minute walk
5 minute jog
3 minute walk
90 second jog
90 second walk
3 minute jog
3 minute cool down walk

(OH MAN, my shins hurt today for the first time in a while - I actually had to stop and take a breather because I was in a lot of pain. Hopefully they'll sort themselves out soon.)

I really love that picture of you up in the top right hand corner, it's gorgeous!

I need to ask a weird question... with the couch to 5k, how do you remember what you have to do 'next' ie: next is 3min running... do you have it printed out and stuck to the treadmill?

Well... not about the sore shins, but good for you completing it.  I usually break my jogging/running up also - like into 4 increments of each.

to keep up the good work, even if you´re having a blah day - I know what you mean, though - my cold´s giving me a bad time and my baby boy kept me up a good part of the second half of the night......
