Before After

!!!!!

A few days ago I ordered a size 16 dress from ebay (new with tags) because I fell in love with the look of it, a pretty knee-length chocolate brown halter dress with a nice v-shaped front. It was gorgeous, the exact type of thing I can't wear because of my shape/size.

Being a target brand and not trying it on, I didn't expect it to fit. I thought it would be just another motivational piece of clothing to one day fit into - but wasn't I surprised this evening when I ripped open the parcel and shimmied into the dress perfectly! It fits! My first ACTUAL 16. I've been kidding myself that I was still a 16 for years, I was more like an 18 pushing 20. But this was a great victory.

It's halter so I'm still uncomfortable with having lots of icky back showing, and I also have an issue with my boobs being too big to go without a bra, and looking stupid WITH a bra. But the fact is that IT FITS and I can now work out the fussy stuff later. Now if only I had some occasion to actually WEAR this spontaneous ebay purchase!!!

In good news, I ate well today - 2x toast, apple, yoghurt, small pasta bake, small veal w/ greens and potato.
In naughty news, I consumed a Cadbury Caramello Koala just now and savoured every bite. Yum!

If the achy back would go away, things would be perfect!!!

Size 16

Way to go on the size 16.  Nothing feels better than fitting into a smaller size.

As far as your remaining issues with the dress, I know exactly what you mean.  I too have the boob, back fat issue and add to that the Arm Waddle.  What I do when I want to wear something sleeveless is that I wear either something somewhat sheer or crochet style over it.  It's enough to disguise the areas I feel insecure about without having to wear a giant sweater or jacket.

BTW, who needs an occassion, wear it grocery shopping and let people wonder what your plans are for later...

Yeah!

OMG, I know it felt GREAT to have that dress fit!  Just like TanyaD said, you don't need an occasion to wear it; put that thing on and stroll through the mall!

By the way, I love Ebay!  What a rush to win an auction!

Good Job! :0)

That is so great that you were able to fit into that dress! Wear the dress whenever you feel like it girl! Lots of people get dolled up for no reason, why can't you?!??? Keep up the great work! :0)

Sexy thing!

Woohoo! Go Aly!

Wear it next time you see your man - if it looks as good as I bet it does - perhaps it'll quickly end up in a pile on the floor.. Rawr!!!

WooooHooo: D

Thats great: D Is it not the greatest feeling? I'm so proud of you!!! Be proud and wear that dress! Go out and have fun!!!!

Keep up the good work: D

WOW!
