Before After

Sad.

My pet rabbit Bella has been sick for the last two weeks, I've been treating her with medicine here at home and have been to the vet three times in two weeks (costing a pretty penny). She's still not well.. meaning tomorrow she'll be heading in for exploratory surgery to try and figure out what is causing her puffy face, most likely something to do with her inner teeth that we can't see. Suffice it to say, I've been pretty miserable all day knowing that she'll be in the vets tomorrow.. bunnies don't go well with surgery. Please keep my sweet rabbit in your thoughts over the next few days!

Instead of eating, eating, eating to try and make myself feel better, I've been extra good. I recieved a compliment today from my partner's dad (who is pleasantly oblivious on most occassions, and I mean that in a nice way, he really is lovely!) who said "gee, you've lost a lot of weight!" I felt really good afterwards, except for the frustration that the clothing STILL doesn't fit differently! I am being very patient, which is unlike my personality at all. ;)

I just complete training #2 of week 3 of C25K. It's certainly not easy, this jogging business. If it's not my shins that bother me, it's trying to figure out the best way to pace my breathing through the three minute stints. I really am an amateur at this running business! One day at a time...

Breakfast: Cereal w/ skim milk
Lunch: Sandwich on brown bread w/ roast beef
Snack: WW apple bar, green tea and one diet chocolate biscuit (got those guilty feelings gone, and for less than one WW point! bonus!)

Dinner will likely be an easy one tonight as everyone's heading out and I don't feel up for cooking much. I also made some low sugar jelly for dessert later. Yum.

Poor Bella!

When your pets are sick, it's such a helpless feeling.  I imagine it's a toned down version of the feeling when your kids are sick, but as my former doggie was functionally my kid, that's my only comparison. Still though, well done you for not turning to food for comfort - you can take pride in that progress.  I'll think happy bunny thoughts over here for you and Bella!

Bella

I know how hard it can be when your pet is sick.  We have a Yorkie who is blind, diabetic and has a collapsed trachea.  It's awful watching them when they're unhappy.

I'll be thinking of Bella and sending good thoughts out to both of you.

BTW, while you may not think your clothes are fitting differently, try taking a look at your face.  Most people seem to lose there first and that's what becomes the most noticeable.  Don't worry about the clothes.  Soon enough, they'll be way too big and you'll be complaining about how expensive it is to replace them all.

Clothes....

Maybe your clothes are fitting better, and you're just not noticing? Like, you might be within the same size range, but they're fitting better

Well done

on eating well and thank you to the partner's dad.  See, it's working.

Hope everything goes well for your bunny.
