Before After

Last day of holidays....

After relaxing with two weeks off work, I'm back on tomorrow as term 2 starts for my class of Year 2 kidlets. (I'm a primary school teacher.) In a way, I'm not looking forward to going back - work?! Ack!? :P But in a way, I'm looking forward to routine.

When I have routines in place, I'm less likely to fail. I get up at a certain time, I pack food for my day and can only eat at certain times, I take work home with me and focus on finishing that off, I squish in exercise when I get home (no excuses!) and I eat dinner, and flop into bed exhausted.

It's the times when I'm alone, or unmotivated, or procrastinating, that I turn to food. By the end of Term 2, I'm hoping to get to 80kgs, my goal. That's almost three months, which I think is achievable! :)

This morning I walked for 30 minutes.

Breakfast: Lowfat yoghurt, Weight Watchers apple bar.
Lunch: Small portion of leftover pasta bake.
Dinner: Chicken breast and veggies. (About to go cook now!)

Another term

will begin then for you - this is our 3rd term here in Malta. If finishes in July and then we have a good 10 week break although my job as it is now I will still have to work some extra days during our Summer.

It's true that routine is better for weight management. And I can so emphatize the danger times. Right now it's one of them - I'm alone practically cause there's only dad and he's nursing a cold in bed and the urge to eat, nibble and eat is incredible.  Good luck for the 2nd term - I'm sure your kiddies will love seeing you again.
