Before After

Nutsy week

Sorry haven't posted anything yet this week.  I did lose though 2lbs I believe.  My youngest is turning 1 this weekend so I've been cleaning and cooking and everything.  But my week is going pretty well. Just not getting in exercise and I feel like I'm coming down with something. I did upload some pictures that are a little over a month old I guess I should take some new ones again.

BAAAAADDD Week

This week was terrible and I'm thankful to even be able to post a loss.  My hubby made beef jerky and bought a container of my favorite ice cream.  I kept taking lil pieces of jerky out but those little pieces add up in the end and the ice cream I insisted I needed a bowl but ended up being too lazy and ate it out of the container like him.  BAD idea.  Then I was super lazy with my workouts too.  I've just been really really busy getting ready for my baby's first birthday and he has been really whiney so I haven't been getting anything done including exercise.

I hope that next week will be a better weigh in I was really hoping to be in the 208's this week.

In other news though I bought a Polar f6 heart rate monitor and can't wait for it to arrive.  My hubby keeps collecting those Monopoly stamps from McDonalds and bringing them home and we had a couple foot locker ones but everything I wanted they wouldn't work on.  Well right before I threw them out I found that they worked on heart rate monitors so I saved 25% YAY!!!!

I'm going to be a Zumba instructor!!!!!!!!!

So how many of you have heard about Zumba?!?!  It's my latest obsession and when I learned there was a workshop coming up in my area to be come certified to teach it I couldn't pass that up.  So I've signed up for it.

It's 9 HOURS of aerobic dancing!!!!!  I can't wait.

For those who don't know what Zumba is here is a video:

Another pound bites the dust...

Weighed in this morning so I'm down another 1.2lbs which is great I was worried I wasn't going to lose anything cause when I checked yesterday it said I was a lb up from my weight last week.  I had gone over my weekly alloted points by 1 pt this week I used crackers in my wendy's chilli and had a waffle last night before bed but that was the worst of it so really not that bad.

I'm excited because I'm getting into the bridal expo's with my business and didn't realize the cost but companies are actually working with me to come to a compromise so that I can participate and I am so excited about it!  Things are really looking up for me lately in all aspects of life.

For anyone who is wondering what I do I'm a Tastefully Simple consultant.  I sell easy to make gourmet foods that require one or two ingredients or are open and eat items.  They are designed to be less time in the kitchen and more time with your family.  If anyone is interested in checking out my website here is a link.

I started an ab challege the other week and so far so good with that too!  I have been incorporating some resistance band training as well.

Here is my ab schedule:

~October 2nd - Oct 10th...  - 25 crunches a day.
~Oct 13 - Oct 17... - 50 crunches a day.
~Oct 20 - Oct 24... - 75 crunches a day.
~Oct 27 - Oct 31... - 100 crunches a day.

We are allowed to take Saturday and Sunday off but sometimes if I skip a weekday I do some on the weekends too.  Can't wait to see the results at the end of the month!

1 month completed!!

It's official today marks my 1 month anniversary of restarting Weight Watchers since having my boys. I've been on plan, exercising regularly, and getting in my water and its paying off cause I'm down 15.8lbs in 4 weeks. I've lost a total of 56.3lbs since I started Weight Watchers and 56.2 to go so I guess I'm more than halfway there now!!  If I get a chance I'll upload my new pictures.

Couch to 5K podcast links

My favorite podcasts by Suz This is my favorite podcast and the set I use  I admit I don't know some of the songs on here but they get me going and through the runs.  I'm happy to say I've completed the first week and look forward to starting the next week AND I actually know most of the 2nd weeks songs.

Robert Ullrey's C25K the ORIGINAL podcasts
Robert has recorded nine podcasts to accompany you on your runs. Some great music, plus Robert will tell you when to run, and when to walk...a must have. Note both Podcast and MP3 versions are available by clicking the top menu on his site.

Podrunner Intervals Mixed by DJ BeatSmith, this first 27-minute set is said to be a great introduction to the world of interval training to start you on your path to a nonstop 5K run! Graham Cairns (who's into the DJ Steveboy stuff) says there are no VERBAL cues to change from walking to running - but a very noticeable musical cue ... and the bpm changing from an obvious jogging speed to an obvious walking one.

Christian Indie Tracks Chris has put together this great set of Christian Couch to 5k Podcasts. Like Robert Ullrey's, they tell you when to run and when to walk.

Must give credit to c25k.com for their links and descriptions except for Suz's review.  They really need to put her on there!

Maybe I should actually write in here!

So here is my empty blog.  As you can see from my weight progress chart I started my weightloss journey in September of 2006 about two months after my first son was born.  I did pretty well then all of a sudden started getting discouraged because I was gaining again.  Well turned out I was pregnant again!  So that is why there is such a lapse and I haven't gotten extremely far in my weightloss efforts since joining in '06.

For me with dieting something just needs to click.  If I don't have that click I don't do well.  Both times I tried WW for some reason it just clicks.  Yea I have my off days but it's a weird thing to understand and most people won't understand unless they've found a program that has clicked for them.  It's like you get a feeling like hey this is really gonna work and that feeling continually motivates you through the weeks and weeks of your journey to become healthier.

This time around something that really made me realize that I was in a position that I was ready to lose was that I started my "lifestyle change" (remember this isn't a diet your changing the way you live) on a Wednesday.  Previously when I've tried other programs Jenny Craig, LA Weightloss, Atkins, Ediets etc. you name it I would only be able to start on a Monday if I didn't start on Monday all was lost for the rest of the week.  Don't ask me why I guess that's just my little psychotic issue or something so when I started WW on a Wednesday it was like wow that's really odd.

I'm happy to say though I've been OP (on plan) for 3 weeks now and feel better than ever.  My clothing already is fitting differently and I feel like I have more energy in certain aspects of my life (in other parts I suddenly want to take a nap like after exercising lol)..  I've cut out all soda but allow myself to have a Coke Zero or Diet Coke one a week but even then I don't usually have any.  I've learned its not the soda I like it's the carbonation so I now drink at least 64oz of calorie free sparkling water a day.  I've learned I love beans, egg beaters, boca burger products and morningstar farms and hope to try many more new things that I was previously scared of.

So I'll attempt to update this blog once a week but I'll warn you ahead of time I'm terrible at blogging on a regular basis.

My current goals are to hit my next 10% loss which is 207.9 and I would like to be in Onederland (somewhere in the 100's my goal is 199lbs) by January 22nd which is my 25th birthday!
