I'm back and on track!

So its been WAY too long since I posted on here and I need to get back to it. 

Last year I left off where I was constantly sick and getting nowhere and ready to give up.  Well that just continued on and on till Spring and I was miraculously cured. I still just couldn't stick to my lifestyle change even though I wasn't sick anymore and made it my goal to maintain.

In September I went to the Zumba Convention which was absolutely amazing (yes i am still on my zumba kick over a year later) and I'm now officially certified in everything zumba has to offer as well as a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer.

Not long after I got back from the Convention I had an injury where I rolled over on my ankle but I was fine or so I thought.  Gave it some time and it still hurt, then it got worse to the point where I felt like I was walking on glass shards and had shooting pains through my feet.  After seeing an incompetent doctor who diagnosed me completely wrong I finally switched to a new doctor who is wonderful.  It appears that I had torn a ligament and also have a cyst in my foot which is now pressing on nerves.  So my official diagnoses is Tarsal Tunnel which is basically Carpal Tunnel just in your feet.  So I've been battling that and was forced to cut down big time on my zumba obsession.  I went from 16 hours a week down to 4 and even those 4 I can't even go full out like I want to due to pain.  So the weight is creeping back up again and the meds they have me on makes me even more depressed about my weight. 

So here I am again.

I started back on Monday using a body bugg to measure my calories burned and using the daily burn website and ipod application to track my calorie intake.  So far so good I don't hit my target every day for my burn but then other days I go way over.  I weighed myself this afternoon and it looks like I've lost at least 5lbs this week so I'll take it.  Hoping for even better by Monday's official weigh in!
