I haven't exactly been too concerned with my weight over the last two years, I was quite surprised when I visited my old EP account and saw how much I'd gained over the years, I'm not going to make excuses like it hasn't been my fault because it has, but moving in with your partner and trying to keep up with the portion sizes he gobbles down and all the yummy food he enjoys means unless you are particularly interested in watching your weight - you will just keep piling on the pounds!

So six weeks ago my gorgeous man proposed to me, which was expected as we'd talked about getting married for quite some time! Needless to say I was absolutely thrilled and we had initially opted for a longer engagement. However, recent conversations have found us coming closer to the idea that we should get married next September (15 months from now!). 

So if this is to happen it means I have to get my butt into gear RIGHT NOW! I would need to go dress shopping in the early part of 2012 and therefore 2011 has to be my year for getting into shape! 

I can't let myself down now because this is for something really important! I don't want to be stick thin for my wedding, far from it - but I want my man to look into my eyes on our wedding day and truly think I am beautiful! 

So any help and support will be greatly appreciated (and needed!)! I know there will be days when I just can't be bothered and that's when I need a good old kick up the butt and be reminded that this is for something really special. But I do believe this time, my willpower will get me through!
