My worst day
We'll it had to stop sometime. I gained two lbs this last week ;-(
I can sit here and give a 100 excuses, but I wont. I, unlike in the past, am going to take control and make this better.
What I'm going to do is look back and see where my choices were not the best and make them better this coming week. Wish me luck!!
Way too cool
I did it, I hit my 70 lbs. lost by vacation. Now I have to come up with a plan to keep it off during.
I'm thinking of my next goal......
90 lbs. by XMas!
Pleasantly Surprised
After being gone on business for the last two days and getting totally off my routine I figured this would be the day that I DIDN"T loose any weight. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I did loose 2 lbs. It was kind fo like finding a $20 bill in your wallet you didn't know about ;-)
It feels good to be back in cyberspace
This weekend was a total bust!! The first thing that happened, and carries out through the rest of the weekend, was that my computer took a dump. Taking a dump is a technical term for “DIED.”
Most of the weekend was spent repairing it. You see, I'm supposed to be the family computer expert. That means I don't have anyone to call when stuff like this happens ;-(
As you can see I'm back up and running. It feels good to be back in cyberspace ;-)
The big six o'
Some people don’t like hitting the BIG SIX O’, but your looking at one that does. Yep kiddies today marks the day the I hit sixty pounds shed. In the immortal words of Neal Armstrong “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” or something like that.
Today Chris, Tyler and me are headed to Lake Okoboji to blow off some steam before next week. Next weeks going to be a tough one with Tyler heading back to school and my BIG work project. I kind of envy Chris having a job at home, but hey someone has to pay for vacation. THANKS BABE ;-)
Look like...
I've finaly slowed down in the weight loss area. Yes, I'm still loosing weight, but I keep expecting to see 4 or five lbs each week and it dosn't happen.
This week I need to find a good workout that is sustainable and targets my stomach. If anyone out there knows of one, please drop me a line. The old standby will be crunches and situps ;-(
I've had bettter
This week really sucked. I had two work related functions I had to attend, so it screwed up my whole eating routine. This just means that I'm going to hit it really hard next week ;-)
Wholly Crap
I am so excited about this last weekend. I actually fit into a size 38 Levi 501. I haven’t been able to do that in about 10 years.
Yes I know that the jeans are a little snug, but I think in about 1 to 2 weeks they'll fit just like my forties do ;-)
High-Fives!!!
Yep I did it, I hit 50 lbs lost today. Only 50 more to go for my overall goal ;-)
Chris hates when I high-five her. She thinks it's kind of juvenile, but I feel like a juvenile sometimes.
I have to give her a lot of credit though. She lost a total of 56 lbs as of today. We kind of have this little competition going on. So as any good husband would do, I'm letting her win ;-)

I'm a little disappointed...
that I didn’t lose the 5 lbs that I wanted to, but Chris says that since I started working out more I'm swapping fat for muscle.
Yeh, I kind of knew that, but I'm already missing the 5 pound weeks ;-( I guess this is what they call a high point.
