I have returned!

I have 'another blog' which I post to regularly, so I'm probably going to be either pasting those entries here or providing links to it. I just posted some photos there, so here's a link if you want to see me and my 'baby':

Me and my baby

Yesterday I tried very hard not to eat junk. I admit I picked up a biscuit in the break room. It was when no one was in there. It was a sandwich creme biscuit. I pulled it half, bit off the corner of the side with no creme, and then--I did what I used to do! I realised what I was about to do, and I walked over to the trash and threw the biscuit in! I didn't just eat it! I can't tell you how many times I used to take one nibble of something, come to myself, and throw the rest away. That was always a triumph for me. Then I stopped doing it, started eating the whole thing. Sneaking back for another. Buying things to take home, not just as a special treat, but any old time. This is how I gained from 131 to 139. But I am NOT going to ever be in the 140s, ever ever ever. So yesterday I threw the biscuit away. Two days now, no biscuits, no chocolate. Yay!

I also did Turbo Jam '3T Totally Tubular Turbo' yesterday, and for good measure threw in the upper body segment of The Firm Super Body Sculpt. I forgot I had planned to do the abs segment. Today I am just about to do Punch, Kick & Jam,and I will add extra abs to make up for it.

I am bound and determined to get back to 131 before the year's up!

For those who don't know me, I started this blog on 20th June 2006. I had lost from 190ish to 137.5 when I started the blog, got below my goal of 134 over about a year. My extrapounds friends all seemed to slip away, so I started a new blog, which I've kept ever since (Dharma in the Dishes). After I left, I got down to 131, maintained at 133-4 for over a year, then it started creeping back on. So I'm here again having weighed 138.0 this morning.

I know I'm in the normal weight range. I'm smack in the middle for my height of 5'7". But I want to be at the bottom. I have long wanted to weigh 129 and have visible muscles. I still work out 5-6 days a week. I still eat a vegan diet.  I will never have visible abs. But I'd love to be able to see musles in my arms and thighs.

So let's see how far we can go this time around.

I didn't know you were back online until I got back home to the UK and got your email! I'm going to be back in Trumann (that's where my mom lives now) either in October or January. :)

You're Back!!!!

Welcome back!!!! It has been soooooo long!  I'm one to speak, right? lol
 
I wish I were like you and noticed that I needed to get back with the program after gaining a few pounds.  Instead I let myself gain until I was considered overweight for my height.  I'm back on it, though, and working hard!
 
Congrats to your son on graduating!  I'm a high school teacher so I get to go to the graduation ceremony in a couple weeks.  School doesn't get out until the 22nd. :(
 
BTW you still look great in your photos!  You're amazing for being able to maintain for such a long time.

Good for you!

Good for you for stopping the slide on the slippery slope!  In the last year I have watched my weight go from 133 to 202, now at 191.  Yikes!
 
Wish I had been as diligent as you in watching, weighing... stopping!
