A date with destiny
I become a British citizen on 22nd June!
I know it's not over yet. I still have two more goals: the UK passport and the UK driving licence. But I'm so nearly there!!!

All your observations on my blog are valid. I know that if I could do real exercise I could probably slowly drop, but right now I can't. Plus, I don't know when I will ever be able to again since my doctors will offer me no diagnosis or treatment for my condition. I'm flat out of options. I went on a bike ride Saturday that got a little bumpy and I've had shooting nerve pain in my back ever since, so I've not been able to hit the gym this week like I planned or do any yoga that actually burns calories. The only exercise I can do is stretching and short (20 min) walks. That allows me to maintain, but not to lose. That's why I was trying to attack the problem with food. But you're probably right about any loss that way being only temporary. Bah.
Hey congrats on your citizenship! That is freakin' awesome!
