DAY 144 - SO HAPPY!

So now I'm in the 11s!!  11 stone 12lbs.  I was 11 stone 2lbs when I came back from Japan and was pretty ok with that.

Because of going to Japan I have to move into management next week - which will be rejigged to include rice and alcohol so I will be able to cope!  I really really wish I wasn't moving into management just now - but I plan to going back into abstinence when I return to lose the last bit!!

But over the moon really.

Also the doctor was great!  (And v. handsome!) He prescribed me loads of valium and some temazepam!!!

AND I got my nails done and bought loads of clothes - which I'm not 100% sure look ok on me - I'm new to this - but will get Kublai and Marie (lodger) to give me their opinions.

So a really good day all round!!

am so proud

Well done, isn't that almost a stone off in the couple of weeks since last weigh-in?!

Over 6st gone in total!

Please try and ignore the BMI bollocks, it is just that.   Having seen you lately and seen how fantastic you look, I'd hate for you to go too far.  I know you say you have a lot of fat, but I imagine you're still being hyper-critical of yourself.

You've got decent GPs who seem to listen to you, and take you seriously, it might be worth mentioning to them about having excess skin removed.  It is possible on the NHS, although infrequent, and is always worth mentioning.  In any case, I doubt it's as bad as you think ....

Judging by the minimins site, people do seem to keep losing when they go onto management, so the same may well apply to you.  Also, you kept weight steady last time in Japan, why wouldn't it be the same this time?

When you come back, you might even be a bit lighter and can continue with management instead going back to SS.  You're not bringing a bloody soup sachet to my wedding!!

you're a superstar!

I'm pretty sure I will put weight on in Japan - no matter how little I eat - just because I'm eating - I'm so used to not eating and frankly this going back to food thing has come at a most inconvenient time - I'm FAR too busy to eat!

It's weird the thing I'm MOST looking forward to is being able to have a cup of tea with milk in it!!  only 8 days to go for that little pleasure!!

But who knows?  Maybe I will be lighter when I come back - I still reckon I will do another month on packs - if I could get down to 10 stone it would be interesting - can't imagine what I would be like at that weight to be honest.

Either way I won't be having soup at your wedding - that's for sure!  If I'm back in mid April - I'll SS till mid-May and be well into management by the time your wedding roles around!  I can't SS for too long - I have to train for this flipping triathlon!!

Wahooooooo!

Well done gajingirl!!!

You've done brilliantly!!  I am so proud of you for getting into the 11s!  It seems that following your instincts through that rough patch was exactly the right thing to do.  Good for you.

And going to Japan, even if it means going into maintenance early, is an absolutely amazing way to celebrate.  I think your attitude is also really positive, preparing for a weight gain is a good psychological buffer, even if (as your friends says above) you don't end up gaining anything.

Keep it up - you're a real inspiration!

What is SS?

Good luck for Japan - you've done great so far - keep it up.
