to myself. Thanks to all of you who gave words of encouragement. After much thought today, I decided that I am worth this journey.

I am generally a very happy person. I have a great family and love being a stay at home mom. I just need to work on some personal issues (referring to my eating habits and turning to food, weight) to be truly happy. I let my weight hold me back a lot and I am tired. Tired of feeling this way. Tired of how I look and tired of being tired.

I am setting a goal of being in onederland by August. Bryan and I have a wedding to go to then and I want to be able to buy a new outfit and feel good.  I hoped that focusing on losing 45 pounds instead of 125 would help.

I AM WORHT THIS!!!!

You are definitely worth it!  I think one of the keys in this battle is to accept where you are right now.  Once you do that, you can make the changes you have to make in order to lose the weight you want to lose.

Setting smaller goals is great.  It is definitely easier to visualize a 10-20 pound loss than it is 100.

I love that you have changed your focus to 45 pounds. It will seem much less overwhelming. And by August...totally doable! Thats like 1 1/2 pounds a week. That sounds great.

I wanted to stop by and tell you Howdy and welcome to EP.  I am just getting back into the swing of things myself and am making it a goal to visit my EP friends more often and blogging about my journey.  I am also doing WW - and "try" to follow the flex points - but it is so hard.  Well, it's not that hard - it's just not what I want to do ~ I want to eat a HB and fries and a super size coke. heeeeeeee heeeeeeeeee

You ARE worth it! 

And I do think you're right about setting smaller goals.  I have to think of some smaller goals myself because thinking about losing 80-something pounds just sounds unbelievable.  Like I can't wrap my brain around the fact that I might actually be able to do that!    Well, I am doing WW too so I guess my first goal is my 10% goal.  After that, I guess I'll have to figure it out when I get there.  lol
