Before After

12 pounds down

I lost a total of 9 lbs. on the cabbage soup diet and 1/2 in. on my hips. I was done with cbs 3 days ago. Iam still dieting, well eating right, counting cals etc. and exercising. I am down 12 pounds in 9 days and have lost a total of 1in. on hips and bust and 1/2 in. in waist. I fugure if I can lose 5 lbs. a week I'll be at my desired weight by mid april.!! I've read that the healthiest weightloss is 2lbs. a week and even then by the end of May I'll be 13 lbs. above my desired weight. So I'm aiming for 5 a week.
Now I've been working out twice a day and let me say that I've never felt so OLD! The first day I worked out, I tried abunch and couldnt keep up at all, so I was searching youtube for  a low impact cardio workout, just to get me started because by this point my confidence that I could do this was way low. I eventually found a workout I could keep up with, since I managed to finish it through to the end and continue for 20 min more on another workout, it boosted my confidence a little. The only thing that made me feel bad was that it was a workout aimed at 50+ years old and was designed so as not to hurt their kness etc. NOW I just turned 30 so this had me feeling pretty crumby but it also gave me the motivation to work out twice a day, because I actually realized how much Ive neglected myself and if I kept on that way for the next 15 years Id be a walking heart attack. Sooooooo, thats me trying to see the bright side of things: YES I am HORRIBLY overweight and out of shape, BUT I finally realized the extremity of it and am willingly doing something about it.

Diet experiment #1: The Cabbage Soup Diet

Started the CSD on Feb. 4th. I am now almost done with day three. I've went from 160 lbs. to 153 since Sat. Feb. 4th!

The cabbage diet is:

Day One: Fruit: Eat all of the fruit you want (EXCEPT BANANAS). Eat only your soup and the fruit for the first day. For drinks- unsweetened teas, cranberry juice and water.

Day Two: Vegetables: Eat until you are stuffed will all fresh, raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat all the vegetables you want along with your soup. At dinner, reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter. Do not eat fruit today.

Day Three: Mix Days One and Two: Eat all the soup, fruits (but not bananas) and vegetables you want. NO BAKED POTATO.

Day Four: Bananas and Skim Milk: Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.

Day Five: Beef And Tomatos: Ten to twenty ounces of beef and up to six fresh tomtoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water this day to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat your soup at least once this day. You may eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef (but absolutely no skin-on chicken). If you prefer, you can substitute broiled fish for the beef one one of the beef days (but not both).

Day Six: Beef and Vegetables. Eat to your heart's content of beef and vegetables this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like, with leafy green vegetables. NO BAKED POTATO. Eat your soup at least once.

Day Seven: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables: Again STUFF,STUFF,STUFF yourself. Be sure to eat your soup at least once this day.

I have followed the plan with no slip ups so far. This diet can be hard, the hardest part for me so far is wanting to eat something with more flavor and substance, for example last night I was dying for a bowl of cereal BUT that is not allowed ! I even poured a serving and almost ate it but then I dumped it out. I must give myself a pat on the back for this!!! This diet does help reduce cravings and is shrinking my stomach. Last night I was allowed a baked potato for dinner. I was stuffed from one potato and it was a medium sized red potato. Well, so far so good. I'll put in my measurements and any additional weight loss or struggles from this diet. So far its proving to be a great kick start to losing 55 lbs.

I also did 20 min. of a zumba dvd and felt like I was going to pass out. How did I get so fat? Oh yeah sitting on my couch for the past 2 years!

Phentermine starting date 2/4/12 weight 160 measurements 39.5-36-45.5

4 years ago I started Phentermine along with diet and exercise and lost 55 pounds in 11 months. 2 years ago a lot of things in my life changed, I ended up relocating to another state and didnt realize until it was too late that it was a very secluded area, with mainly retired folks. Not having anyone around and nothing much to do, I got quite depressed and my new eating and lifestyle habits I had learned to live by slowly were forgotten. Food and sitting around in front of the t.v. became my life. Now 2 years and 55 pounds later I happened to see a picture that was taken of me that was very much a slap in the face or like a cold bucket of water being dumped over my head! I couldn't believe I let all that hard work go down the drain, because it does feel like it was for nothing considering I'm back to where I started. So now I'm starting again and this time I'm determined to keep the weight off. Since I have so much time on my hands I intend to research weight loss, healthy dieting, different types of diets, exercise programs etc.
I plan to lose 55 lbs. by July 1st. Averaging at 10 pounds per month. During these 6 months I will be experimenting with numerous fad diets, tricks and tips that I will be researching online. The first one is Phentermine, I will be taking Phentermine, dieting and exercising as well. I will post daily my diet, exercise, food intake and what diet, tricks and tips I'm currently trying. I will put in my measurements every Monday, but post my weight every couple days.
Happy dieting, wish me luck!
Here is the horrible pic...Don't you hate when someone takes your picture and you don't even know? Well, in this case it was a wake up call.
