Looking forward to the weekend!

I am sooooooo looking forward to the weekend aren't you all?  We are planning on visiting my family in Indiana and I am looking forward to seeing them all.

My goals for this weekend are to walk with daughter in the AM to get it done for the day on both Saturday and Sunday and she and I love doing that...get to spend quality time with her.  Also one other thing I am planning to do is go biking as family-we all love that!

I was just thinking last night that I also want to start doing at least 50 crunches a day-so wish me luck and ask me how I am doing on this if you all want.   I need to be accountable till I make it a habit

Beautiful morning

I am feeling awesome this morning!  It is a wonderful morning!!!  I woke up and opened the windows in my house -fresh air.  My daughter and I went for a nice walk before I came in here to work.  I love cool mornings!!  I also got my weight training in this morning!

I did eat ice cream last night-  It did not agree with my stomach this morning I was feeling it.  Anyhow...I gotta stick with eating healthy.  I did feel a little guilt...but that is my first sweet the whole week sooooooo.  Well, I wont be doing it again this week.

Unusually tired...

The last couple of days I have been extremily tired and not even feeling like doing my walk when I get home from work.  I am thinking it is because of the extreme heat that we are experiencing.  They said there was a heat alert the past couple of days.  The weather is supposed to be cooling down so I am going to plan for my walk this evening.  I have been walking at lunch...but by the time i get home I am tired.  I also have to get my weights in tonight...kind of slacking there.  I want to at least get in two sessions this week.  I am going to do that tonight also. 

I will post in here and let you all know if I got my weights and walk in tonight.  Let me know how you all are doing.  My eating is good.    I just want to kick it up a notch...I dont want another plateau

Anyways, have any of you been experiencing this with the extreme heat?

I am so psyched today...yahoooooooooo.  I lost two pounds!  I am so encouraged about it! yeah!  Just wanted to share with you all today! Keep encouraged!  It pays to not give up...even when you are at a plateau for a bit.

How are you all doing?  I thought for sure I would come back with some weightloss today, but nothing has changed on the scale-boo hoo.  That was honestly kind of discouraging for me.  Then guess what happened?  A lady from my work came to and commented on how nice I am looking and asked if I am losing weight so that was definitely a boost for me!

I was walking the whole weekend (or so it seemed)  We went to campground and had to walk to the pool, walk to play area, and we played volleyball and went swimming.  I was so zonked adn fried from being out in the sun. 

I weight 175 right now and hoping to get to 173 or 172 by this Friday or next Monday.  How is everyone doing?  What are your goals for the week?

Here are some of my goals:

*walk at least once a day

*weight training at least two times this week

*go biking

TGIF !!

It is finally here-Friday has finally arrived.  I had to come in and work after July 4 and it made it especially hard to come in after that

You are probably wandering how I am doing on my diet.  Well, last night our family had spaghetti and I didnt eat the pasta part....I just ate the meet and I brought out some celery to help also.  Yeah me!  I also went for three walks yesterday -once in morning with my daughter, then at lunch at work, then after work after supper.  I have been getting my family involved in my exercise regime now.  The kids also love doing the videos.

I am so excited about the weekend because we are going out of state for a get together at a campground...so we will be playing volleyball, basketball, rugby (not  me my but dh for that), swimming, miniature golf.  My dh is from country close to Australia and all the people from there get together...it is so awesome.  We also have open mic and people perform.  My kids learned a song in my dh's language they will be singing...anyways...we are so excited!!

I am a newby here!

Hey everyone!  I am new on here to extra pounds.  The way I found this place is I am part of South Beach Diet forum and I  saw where a lot of people used the ticker or tracker from here and I thought I would come over here and look around.  Cool site!!!  Well, just to give a little background about me.  I am 31 years old and within the last 2-3 years I have gained a total of about 50 pounds due to emotional eating.  Well, I had a wakeup call when here at my work they had a health screening and I failed some of the tests.  I have currently lost a total of 25 pounds since the first of March through God's help.  I had lost 12 pounds prior to SBD and 13 pounds while on SBD.  I am wanting to lose 20 more pounds...if more comes off then that is ok...but my real goal is to get down to 155.  I am going to post in here about my ups and downs and happy to get any comments or tips thanks!!!
