Happy hump day!
Good morning!
Had a nice Labor Day weekend ! Did you all? Something funny or not so funny to people involved. We were sitting there watching the fireworks downtown...along the interstate tons of cars parked and walked to see the fireworks...meanwhile the police were calling the tow trucks and they were towing away all the cars two by two. I bet there were going to be some mighty angry people when they returned and might have another set of fireworks!!
I got on the scales this morning and it read 168-woohoo. Then I got back on it five seconds later...and it read 170 again. What?
That is ok...cause by October I am going to weigh 162-yeah!! I can do this!! The question is what am I going to do differently?
walk before work
Monday, Wednesday, Friday-strength workout (today!)
walk my usual lunch walk
no eating after 7:30pm I have been slacking there

Sounds like a plan. :) I have a plan, but don't stick to it. :) LOL! I have no doubts you'll make it to your October goal. I'd LOVE to lose 10 lbs this month...hopefully with a lot of hard work and eating right, it'll happen. I'm sjust so mad at myself that it's taking me so long to get to goal... I started Feb, 2006. LOL!

I think your not eating past 7:30 will make a big change! Being consistant is the hardest part!

I don't think I could do it!
Not eating after 7:30! That takes a lot of strength and willpower.
We can all do the 5 lb by the 23RD of Sept. YES WE CAN !!!!

Scales...
My old scale used to be flighty like that. Now i have one that is VERY accurate. it measures within .2 pounds...and i can step on it 12 times in the morning and always get the exact same reading. Good - yet bad because sometimes i want to blame the scale for fluctuations but it is so accurate i know it is me.
Keep up the good work and stick to your october goal! You can do it!

Fireworks
I would have loved to see everyone's faces when they walked back to no car! I guess that is what you get for parking on the interstate!
You are doing a great job. I think I might try the 5lbs by Sep 23, I think it will be the 24th for me since I weigh myself of Mondays though. That is just under 3 weeks and is doable! I wanted to be at 155 by October 8 but the way I have been losing is not making that possible so I will try for the 5lbs!

Good luck, sounds like a good plan!
I should set a time to stop eating at. I eat at all hours and it ends up disturbing my sleep (hard to fall asleep right after eating for me)

No exercise
I had a headache when I went to bed last night so I took some Tylenol PM. I didn't wake up early enough to exercise this morning and I think it was because of the Tylenol. So I WILL exercise when I get home tonight. I have to confess that I did not exercise yesterday at all (shaking finger at myself). I can't let myself get out of my routine so I will get back on track so I can lose that 5lbs by Sep 24.
We will all lose that 5lbs!

Glad you had a fun holiday weekend. Especially that it was safe one for you and the family.
Ditch those scales for a newer one. I would freak if mine jumped two pounds in a few seconds....LOL

Must suck to be those people!!
Awesome plan, we have the same toning scheduel..hehe..is the not eating after 7:30pm a myth or just something you think will help you lose more weight? I'Ve heard it from a lot of people and I'm just wondering if it's proven to make you lose weight a lil faster.
Good attitude about the scale =D I need to pry myself away from it..help me! =P
