Good morning!!!I am just checking in with you all!  Guess what?  I have not gotten my strength training in at all this week  I know I will not get done tonight...I have night class starting tonight.  Let me see, I have to get it done...I will plan on doing them Friday and Sunday now.  That is doable-I think!! Yeah, I can do it!

I have been rethinking some things today...a friend here at work asked me if I wanna join their spinning class so I might be frequenting the gym downstairs more.   I am going to schedule an assessment on Tuesday.  Wish me luck!  I am psyched about starting this...I wanna get in the habit of going down there some cause the weather is going to be getting cold (unfortunately) sooner than we think !

Any plans for your labor day weekend?  I have a friend coming from W.V.  I am soooo excited!  They have humongo fireworks on Sunday we are all going to also!  Monday- a cookout...gotta think of some healthy snacks to bring so I wont be munchin' on the junk food

Gym

How cool is that to have a gym right there at work?  That must be SO convenient!  I tried a spinning class once - the instructor assumed we were all Lance-Armstrong-Wannabes and worked the crap out of us.  I left after 5 minutes and never went back.  I know a few people who absolutely adore spinning classes - I guess it all depends on your instructor and personal fitness level.  I can't wait to get your feedback, assuming you give it a go.

Gym at work

I highly reccomend the gym at work. That's where I go and it's sooo convenient! By 5pm I've finished my daily exercise and I can relax for the rest of the night. I figure it's going to be a real time saver for you, too =D

I dont have many plans for the long weekend..I'll just go with the flow I think.  A cookout? Uh oh!! Good idea...healthy snacks will keep you away from the evil stuff.

Spinning

Spinning can be an awesome work.  One piece of advice - wear properly padded bike shorts, or your behind will be aching for days!!

Perk Up

So you missed a few strength training things.  Not the end of the world.  Just buckle down and make sure to schedule it in your day.  And the gym at work sounds great - my problem is always byt the time i get home i couldn't dream of going back out to the gym...this way you are still out, have you just change floors and you are there...hard to make excuses with that one!

Keep up the good work.  Stay strong!

I wish I had...

a gym at work!  Of course, I would probably tell myself something along the lines of, "Well, I don't want to be all sweaty at work, " or something to that effect.  Spinning, huh?  Pretty tough.  I used to watch the spinning class while I was working out in North Carolina.  The instructors were like Nazis, and I SWEAR some of them were robots!  I hope you can endure!

Good job on planning ahead for healthy snacking at the cookout.  Enjoy yourself!

Labor Day Week-end plans - Saturday we have a birthday party, Sunday we are going to a Church Bazaar celebration and Monday sleep and do housework.  LOL
