New day...
Good morning you all!
It is a new day and new week! I am sooo thankful for that. I honestly did awful this weekend! You name it and I was craving it! I gave in to my cravings also! I was scared to do it, but I got on the scales this morning...and they are only up a pound...I am so lucky I think. Anyways, back with the program...
Still wanting to reach 169 in month of August...let's see if I can do it!
Well, I am picking myself up and not giving up!
My goals for today are:
go for walk
drink tons of water
go for walk after work too
no eating past 7:30pm
I get an email every morning from Joel Olsteen ministries. The verse in there was just for me! It is very simple. "Look straight ahead" Proverbs 4:25. I dont need to focus on the weekend or how awful I did this weekend. I need to focus on what is straight ahead!
We can do this you all!

Don't worry
about the weekend. You're right - all you need to do is focus on the present and what is immediately in front of you. I'm sure you'll have a great week!

WeekEnd
It's so easy to blow it on the weekend, isn't it? I didn't do too great either- lots of alcohol... but today is a new start!

Keep it up
You can do this. Keep up the good work! 169 you can do it.
Everyone gives into cravings every now and again - the important thing is that you don't let it get you down and once you get that fix you go back to what you know is right.

Looks like everyone had a bad weekend!
I read a lot of blogs today that says it wasn't just us who had a bad weekend. We just need to get back on the wagon and do better this week. Hang in there. You are doing a great job! We can do this!

straight ahead
Good idea! focus on what's straight ahead not the bumps we just passed over because then we might not see the next one in time to avoid it. Agree with aschweder, it seems many of us had rough moments over the weekend. It's Monday, so you're doing great to refocus.
Good luck! You can make your goal. You'll be 169 & going down!
Thanks also for the encouraging words on my blog.

Thanks!
For the comment! I'm hoping the mattress is enough motivation because I'm tired of the "when I lose weight". I agree about the quote from Joel Olsteen (my mom loves him)! I need to remember that bc I have a way of dreading about yesterday!

As always our God knows exactly what we need to hear for encouragment!!!! Isn't he awesome!!!! Never look back at yesterday because "He is not the great "I Was".
I do love Joel Olsteen, he has such wonderful messages. I loved his book also. Everything about him is so inspiring.
You have an awesome week ahead. You can make those goals because everyone is here cheering you on. Blessings, Chargail

*Ü* Joel Osteen
You have a great outlook and will succeed.
I love Joel Osteen. He is so inspiring to me too. I live within driving distance of Lakewood Church and have been there once. He actually wasn't preaching that Sunday but he was there participating and we were able to meet him. What you see is what you get. He is no different in person than he is on TV. It is my understanding that after every service he will stand outside and shake hands, sign autographs and say hello until the line dimenishes or his next service starts. He is a neat guy and much shorter in person than he looks on TV. Ü

Thank you....
I just want to tell you this.....Thankfully never in my life have I been one of low self-esteem but here lately I had suffered with that problem. The extra weight didn't help but after a terrible failed relationship with someone who I really thought cared for me UNCONDITIONALLY I have been having a rough struggle with everything. I am amazed that GOD has allowed me to remain focused enough to want to treat and do my body right. I am grateful to GOD for allowing positive people in my life and allowing those that I need at the right time. Thanks again for the wonderful comment. It's been bad. But like I said on my pic. I feels so much BETTER than WONDERFUL. The bible tells us to confess those things as though they were, even though on the inside I feel like crap. I am going to confess that I am doing feeling and looking great! Thanks again & God Bless U & your beautiful family....:o)

You can do it!
Don't worry you can do it! You're so close! Stick with your goals and you will be fine! At least you weren't so chicken you skipped the scale all together this week. I was a chicken .
Yes, God is truly amazing! I am glad to have His protection.
have a beautiful day! shawn
