FRIDAY IS HERE

My fave day of the week is here-Friday!

Tonight we are meeting with some friends to play volleyball and basketball, watch movies, and eat (they said pizza, but not me on the pizza).  I love basketball it has got to be my fave sport.

We have a going away party for one our friends tomorrow-they are leaving the country.  I promise...no junk at the party!

Soooooo..I am going to have some little temptations over the weekend.  I am going to report in here bright and early Monday morning so I know that I have you all to be accountable to.

My goals for today are to get walk in at lunch and walk in with family after work.  My other goal is by next Friday to be down two pounds.  My weight has been going haywire, not by any drastic measures...but up two pounds, down two pounds....so I am going to revamp AGAIN my eating and exercising.  Today I am going to drink more H2O, and still keep with my cut off time of not eating after 7:30.  Guess what else I am planning-I am getting up early Monday morning and going to come in early to workout in the gym.  I enjoy doing that.  I might try the weight machines here at work  I have got to start losing again!  I know I can if I change some things-ANY TIPS?

This is what I have eaten so far:

Breakfast: cheerios

WE CAN DO THIS!!!! KEEP ENCOURAGED!!!

it will work!

There is no doubt, once you add the strength training, you are going to start seeing results.  on the scale and just in your clothes too!  I am so excited for you.  Dont know if I've ever shared this quote that is on a banner at the Y, but it says:  Motivation gets you started, habit keeps you going.   Oh so true.  Way to go!  OH and you can stay away from the temptations at the party.  Just think of the reward!

party time!

I tried to post a comment and it didn't take, so I'll try again.

I find that if I eat before I go to the party I am less likely to want to eat there. Or I'll put some of my "approved" snacks in my purse and just knowing that they are there is very comforting.

Also, pile up a plate with fruit and veggies (if they have them) and just keep it with you. You'll be more likely to pick off that plate then the chips and dip if it is in reachable distance.

Hope that helps! Make sure you let us know how you did, and have fun this weekend!

I understand...

I completely understand the yo yo weight thing.  But it's kind of fun.  One day I'm like" YAY!" and the next day I'm like "okay... I'm doing sixteen more hours of cardio today... DAMN!" haha.  c'est la vie! Stay motivated though!  I know you can do it!  Just takes a little tap on the rear... or in my case a swift kick in it!

Your Focused!!!

I don't think you need much advice.  Reading you post and I see that you have definite plans to keep yourself on track.   That is awesome.

We must be dancing the same dance.....up two, down two.... that has been me all week.  Blast it!!!!   I have been toying with the idea of getting up earlier and maybe walk or ride my bike.   UGH....I am not an early morning person.....but I gotta do something.

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend my friend.

panini

About your question.  The lean cusine panini is soooooo good. I love the chicken club. You should try it!! The bread really does get toasted in the microwave!

No pizza??

God you're strong =) I could never say no to pizza..even if I tried! I've been craving it for 2 whole weeks..

You're so diciplined =D Steer away from the bad food this Weekend and have fun!

Goals

You are so good. You are giving me a good example about setting goals for the next week, and not eating too late. Thank you!

Have a nice walk today and I know you love your weekends because you spend it with your beautiful family, so enjoy!

Hugs,
Sakura

thank you

thank you for you comment on my blog.  I think both the girls are too young to be out in 90 heat (they are 1yr 2 months & 3 months).  I do like DVDs but I constantly have 1 or both children awake.  It has only been a week so I am trying to get them on a similar schedule so I can start some type of workout DVD.  I am hoping to be able to get 30 minutes a day to do, at least, some of a DVD a day.

I did bite the bullet and went to my WW meeting.  I did lose 1 lb!!

BRAVO on saying no to pizza.  That will never happen with me. LOL!  best of luck to you in trying to be down 2 lbs by next Friday.  I think that I am going to have to join you in that challenge!

No rest for you...

Sound like you will be too busy to overeat this weekend!  Congrats on staying focused and setting daily and weekly goals.  With your increased water intake, perhaps you can be my sidekick, "Wizz Girl."

Have a great weekend!

I love pizza....

I so could eat that till the cows come home and more ....

It's one of the things I have cut back on (ok, so it is the one thing I have cut back on ;) ) ... helped by the fact that I have no kitchen, hence no over presently ...

Pizza however if homemade is a good offering ... oh pizza it has to be mine soon.

Sorry, was I meant to be offering something positive here ... um, pizza slice anyone ...

Ok, so things that help me personally:

Planning menus for a week
Drinking my water
Having low cal / low fat snacks (carrot sticks and hummus is one of my easy ones)

Hey girl

hey girl... make your own pizza.. No it wont have the cheese but heck at leasrt you will feel like your eating something close to it.. hehe

Good luck and have fun tonight

God Bless

Angela
