sticking to the plan
Hey you all! Good morning!
Well, I am happy to report in today that I stuck to my plan on not eating late-yeah! I am excited that I was able to do this!
I ate good yesterday also-no sweets or junk
I am realizing that this is one day at a time and even if I mess up I need to get back on the wagon. Also I am thinking I need to plan some cheat days or cheat meal...do you all do that? so you wont feel so deprived sometimes. Then I will know when I am getting my sweet. Actually I think I might get some more jello SF that seems to help with the sweet tooth!
Well, I am heading out for a walk. Same goal as yesterday...no eating past cut off time. I need to also get my toning in cause didn't get in last night.
WE CAN DO IT!!! I WILL DO IT!!

Yeah for You!!
Girl you are doing great Keep up the good job. I was real bad with the sweets yesterday so you would make a good roll model.
I don't plan a sweets day, however, it seems to be happening real often.

Cheat Day!
I was thinking about having a 'cheat day'. I am not ready. I seems that I have a little something everyday. I have a friend, who is at her goal, (good for her) who has always had a 'junk day'. She makes it 1 day a week. I think it's a good idea! If you do it, let me know how it goes. Good job on the no sweets!

=)
I use to have cheat days..and realized that it kept me from losing. What works for me is one single cheat-meal per week. And it can varie between going to the restaurant once or putting cheese on a burger or having a small bag of chips.
For example, my cheat meal is going to be alcohol Saturday =P Not a meal but it's something that I normally wouldnt do that isn't good for my weightloss.
Take care!!

There you go!
Excellent - one day at a time is the way to go. Blogging about your successes reinforces your choices as well. You are in control!

Great job!
Excellent way to go on the sweets and eating late! I'm also so happy for you for your hubby! Praise God for that - that's wonderful! You have such a beautiful family!
I do like to splurge every once in awhile. I hate calling it cheating though because that would make me want to do it more often! I don't do it on a regular basis either, but if something comes up, like say a birthday celebration with a dinner and cake (I have 5 kids with summer birthdays!), I plan on taking part, but in moderation, keeping serving sizes appropriate. I will save up carb servings even though Nutrisystem advises against that - for me that's just what works. I don't eat a huge piece of cake either - just a smallish regular piece, and I compromise, using light ice cream and a regular serving of canned whipped cream (15 cals per 2 Tbsp.).
I guess the thing is for me, I always keep in mind that my daily choices are going to affect my weight. If I keep those splurges more few and far between eating right, I can enjoy all my favorite things in moderation and not feel guilty about them.
Hey, you're doing great - keep up the good work! Yes you CAN do all things through Christ! And thanks so much for the encouragement!

Cheat day
I use Sundays as my cheat day. I also have a killer sweet tooth--try sugarless gum when you have a craving for something sweet. It works wonders!

You go girl!
As always your blog is sooooo niceeee, so positive, love it. You have a lovely attitude towards life and diet, etc. And I think a planned cheat day is a good idea. What would you include on it?
