started Fastin

On 8-5-06 started taking fastin to help jumpstart the metabolism. i have been eating good, laying off the sugar and no change. Well now i have a little hope. I have lost 4 pounds since starting a few days ago. It is a nice change. i'm peeing like a race horse with all the water i'm drinking.

i'm being careful to eat 6 small snacky meals a day with more protein than carbs than 3 big one.

Going to start going back to the gym next week and hopefully get internet at home soon so i can blog more often.

Going to try hard this weekend to be good, taking kids out of town for softball tournment.

Thanks for listening. It is exciting to be making change even if it is small change. I have readjusted my goals, to be 200 lbs by november 5,2005.  We will just have to wait and see.

Time to Lose

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mom's Day.

My husband made the best dinner, I splurged!!!

London Broil from the BBQ with a Dry Rub (healthy)   Fresh Asparagus steamed, frozen corn, fresh cucumber slices, and fried okra (this is sinfully good fried in oil and cornmeal)

Hope everyone has a terrific day!!!!!!!!!

Time to Lose

Do you ever have the feeling the more healthy you eat, the more you gain sometimes???

i have been eating low carb and low fats, decreased my sugar. Making sure that i eat 3 meals a day with snacks. Salad for lunch. quit drinking my sugar free vanilla rages, quit having deserts with lunch at work.

thanks for the ear

losen slowly

i'm new to the website. i'm losen weight slowly, i see the doctor in first week in june to go over thyroid, insulin resistence, and start weight loss pills.

my question is what is working for everyone?? I have a crazy work schedule and hours plus a husband and 3 kids with practices and so on. i can't change a whole lot with cooking because not everyone in the family is willing to change. i can do small things with big salads and lots of veggies especially since summer is coming and fruit stands are going to open soon. my kids will eat lots of veggies, but i married meat and potatoes. i don't exercise as much as i should. i have joined a gym but haven't gone very frequently due to work and just being tired on my one day off a week.

what working for everyone?? maybe i can take a little from here and there and make it work for me.

thanks

holly
