i am feeling pretty hungry and lethargic....   i'm hoping that having a blog in which to record my mood, mind, meals, etc. will help me to stay focused.  i'm basically a compulsive overeater.  so, while i am probably not so overweight, i'm mostly worried about the bad eating habits i have learned and developed.  i like chocolate a lot.  and cereal.  and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  all of these things are fine in moderation, only my stomach doesn't seem to understanding the meaning of that oh so crucial word: moderation.  i look at my father, my aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandmother, and i see into a future i don't want for myself.  hopefully i'm still young enough to make lasting changes to my food habits.

You're very wise... extremely wise to see bad habits and try to change them when you are young.

In a million years, a trillion even, I would have never expected to get where I am healthwise. Never.
 
I didn't really pay attention to changing bad habits in my 20s and 30s and
now it's really, really caught up with me.
 
Stay aware of yourself, wise one.
