Before After

hello world...

Well, hi :)

I'm back. ..because I need to be back. I have meant to come back for several months but you can imagine how it goes. I was embarrassed and ..well, embarrassed. I've gained plus some extra and now it's gotta go.

However, please bear with me -- because An American in Greece ...is about to be back in America. Husband and I have decided to take the plunge and move back to the U.S. ..and I'm leaving in 3 weeks! He will follow just after the first of the year. I'm excited and sad - but I think it's time. I miss my family :)

Probably not the best time to start - but is it ever?

I've taken down my measurements (oh, the horror..) but haven't stepped on the scale for about 3 weeks. .. . . I will, I will. I know it's going to be ugly. Tomorrow morning.

Anyways - glad to see a few familiar faces, thanks ladies :)

Congrats

Congrats on your move back to the States! As wonderful as Greece sounds, I don't know that I could tolerate their super hot summers, as you did. What part of the US are you coming back to?

I think we can all appreciate the weight loss struggle and having some success only to take a few steps backwards. I certainly had that experience. I had lost 35lbs in 2004 and was getting nonstop compliments until I left my FT job for grad school and then took a horrific job. I gained back those 35lbs plus another 30!

Whatever that number on the scale reads when you hop back on it, just know that it's temporary. You're a successful loser--you can do it again.

Welcome back...

Welcome back!

Acknowledgement is the first step!  Good for you.

It is NEVER to late for a fresh start and many of us have gained/loss/gained/loss... repeat!

No shame in it, it's just a fact life.  You'll get back on plan and progress will follow!  = )

:)

That´s exciting!

The first step is always the toughest and the biggest one and you have done it. So it will help you while moving etc.

Big hugs!!

hi!

Yay, you're back!  And what a crazy/exciting move ahead . .  good luck with all that, and don't go away again!
