relax. just do it.

I've been really crappy as of late about updating my blog. I've also been kinda crappy on my diet. Coincidence? I think not.
The truth is, I'm getting ready to go back to school, and it's stressing me out like no other. I'm kind of afraid of flying, but not to the point that I won't get on a plane. (it used to be that way!) I also go to school 3500 miles away from home, so that's a bit of a stress point for me.
I've been kinda preoccupied by all this stuff, so I haven't really been doing the eating well. I'm still not eating sweets, and I've gone to the gym a few times this week, but I'm just can't focus on this at the moment.
The good news is that I haven't fallen off the wagon too much. I've maybe gained a pound or so, but I'm going to take that off next week once I settle down. I'm just a worrier. That's how I am.

Ok so two questions, one is technical, one is personal.
1. Where are my old posts? Why is it knocks a post off everytime I post a new one, but there is no second page. Can anyone tell me what's going on?
2. What makes you relax?

Thanks for the recommendation for the podcast. I understand the fear of going back to school far away, since I went to college far from my hometown as well. I dealt with it by keeping in regular touch with my family--calls, letters, packages, e-mails--to the point where I was less lonely and more feeling...ahh why don't they leave me alone???? haha.

And I can't answer the technical question, but my answer to #2 is taking a hot bath with a good book.

I think your old posts disappear to save space on the extrapounds server.
You can still read them if you go into your blogs section, but only a certain number will show on your public profile.

I LOVE flying!!
It's usually the best part of any trip for the first day or so LOL!!

Relaxing for me is reading a good book, with a mug of hot chocolate & peace and quiet!!!

I don't know where your old posts are....that happens from time to time, but they do usually show up again eventually. Hopefully they already have!

What makes me relax is a nice run! Or a nice long walk! Or just even sitting outside in the sun with a magazine or two. I guess it depends on how much energy I need to burn at the time. :)

You're doing really great, btw!! You pointed out that we are the same height and start weight. I remember when I was about 11 pounds down thats when all my mojo kicked in! You can do it! Good luck!!! Oh, and I hate to fly, too! ;) Hope you have/had a safe flight back to school.
