I'm still a loser!!

I had a bit of a challenge over the weekend, and ended up having to eat some carbs.  Friday night, the in-laws canceled for dinner, but my husband and I didn't have any food at home, so we still needed to go out to eat.  We couldn't go where we were originally headed because it was too expensive, so we just ran over to Houlihan's.  I ended up getting a burger, but it was on a whole wheat bun, and I got a side of broccoli instead of fries.  So, I didn't do too bad.

Saturday night, I attended a madrigal dinner to attend at my nephews high school.  Obivously, I don't have a choice of what to eat, and of course dinner was chicken kiev.  Oh well.  I decided to enjoy myself and I ate it all up.  It was very good.  But, I did avoid the cheescake for dessert.

After a very scary drive home thanks to an ice storm.  I got back on track on Sunday, and have since lost an additional pound.

Things are looking good.  I'll be sure to keep you updated.

Looks like we are about the same...

I started off my weight loss at around the same weight as you and I'm 5'2" tall, so we are alot alike in our goals.  I just wanted to leave you a comment to say hello and that I am pulling for you.  You can do this.  I did South Beach for a little while and had some success.  Good luck!   

And good job on the sensible choices.  South Beach can be difficult when eating out, so I think you made excellent choices.  YAY!
