Memorial Day Weekend
At this point I hadn't started to even consider going on a diet...this photo was taken at a family reunion held at my home, you can see all the food on the counter behind me, such a sad sight when I look at the photo now. That's how we are in my family, good food is never very far from us.
Since this photo was taken I have lost only about 5 lbs, but I have cut out a lot of bad things in my diet, such as caffeine, processed white bread and what not here and there. I have been drinking on average 65 ounces of water a day, eating the hamburger without the bun or the extras, when going out to eat eating only vegetables as a side, cutting my meal portions in half. Just by doing those few things in the last couple of months I have lost some fat, plus I was able to get into a size 12 pair of jeans that I haven't worn in about a year.
I figure one step at a time, plus try to keep my stress level low.
