It's February

It's been a little while since I last typed anything into my blog...things are going fairly well.  The later part of January went to Vegas to celebrate my oldest sister's 50th Birthday, it was just a girls time out in Vegas, and my did we have fun!

Unfortunately, came back from the trip and got sick, found out through an ultra sound that I have gallstones of all things, my doctor said that with my dieting and going out to Vegas my food and water routines, plus the excess alchol intake, aided in triggering the stones and my sickness.

Celebrated my 38th birthday on the 3rd...it was just  a general lazy day.  I truly do not mind turing 38, in fact being 38 reminds me that I still have a soon to be 2 year old that I have to keep up with, which will keep me young.

My diet is not doing too bad, after the gallstone weekend which I lost something like 6 pounds in the matter of 6 days, I was able to keep down food so now I am back at 180 lbs.  Need to get more excercise in my day/evening, that should help with losing additional weight.

Tah tah for now!

Monday blahs...

Boy, I think I need to start looking for a new job...I am just having the worst time trying to get going today.  Decided to take a quick break and post a blog...I have not been doing too bad with my weightloss goals, been keeping track of what I eat and definitely cutting back on portion sizes.  It's been crazy, I am not sure how I will keep going with the positive attitude, because as of right now I do not have one.  A feeling of dread has crept into my mojo, so not so happy go lucky today.  Need figure out what is different, whether it's food or something else that has got me feeling the Monday blahs...

Till next time...

Happy New Year to self!!

Want to start the new year off right...so far things have been so..so, not giving up or giving in!  I believe that logging everything that I am eating and drinking is definitely making a big difference, it holds me more accountable.  Once I have the food documentation mastered, I will start on the excercise regime.

I joined the local YMCA several months ago and haven't went very much since then, my new goal is to try at least 2 times a week.  We will see how all that will go in the next month or so...will keep posting.

Till the next go around...

2nd post to my site

Wow...the last few days have been dreadful...with the exception of my very bright 21 month old daughter.  Work is the main problem with my eating habits, I tend to eat when I am very stressed, in fact that is how I got to weight that I am currently, too much stress.  Need to figure out a way around the overeating for anxiety...

So far this weekend hasn't been too bad, I have managed to stay within my 1400 calorie limit, the problem is that right now I am craving the delicious pepermint ice cream that is in the freezer, and that is why I am writing on my page, so hopefully I can discourage the craving that is building.

Well, I hope that the next time I log into the site, I will have lost a pound or two.

Till later...

Today is the day for a new beginning...again!

Let see how far I get on this help site...I will make a promise to my self that I will try to be only positive and do my best to log every thought in my head, especially when I feel that I am going downhill.

Lot's of changes in store, but I plan on starting out small, one step at a time.  I understand that in order for me to change "bad" habits, I must enroll the "good" habits one at a time, to start off I plan on eating smaller portions and to work on making healthier eating choices.
