Back at it http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/halfome/comments/336709/back-at-it
Ok. So after I stopped taking the Phentermine, I gained like 18 lbs back, but I have leveled out at around 144. So now that I have stopped gaining, I'm going back at it again. I have about 20 lbs to lose, then I'll be done. That will put me around 125 lbs....I think that is safe for me. I don't think I will look right if I go any lower...I won't look healthy. I've been watching my calories like a hawk and I've been eating a lot of fruit again, not to mention I've been working out again. I'm very excited that I only gained 18 lbs back. I was afraid I was going to gain all of it back. I'm very disciplined at this point, so I think I'll do it this summer.
Comments(0) 336709 Wednesday, December 5, 2007 21:00:21 Still At it http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/halfome/comments/273308/still-at-it
I'm still at it. I relaxed on my calories even more. I was taking in about 1500 a day, but started gaining it back, so now I'm back on my 900 calories a day. I had gained back 16 lbs., but since restricting it to 900, I'm down 5 lbs. I've got 10 more til I'm where I was before I gained some of it back, then I can concentrate on the last 10 -15 lbs.
Comments(0) 273308 Friday, November 30, 2007 22:05:10 Feeling Better http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/halfome/comments/133367/feeling-better Today I am two pounds lighter. I have increased my caloric intake to around 900 calories a day. I was averaging about 600 per day, which is way too little. I ended up getting sick and could not get rid of it. It took me three weeks to shake whatever I had. I'm sure a lot of the delay was because I was not giving my body enough fuel to fight whatever it was. Once I started taking in more calories my health slowly improved. I know what I did wrong....once I started seeing results with not eating a lot, I got obsessed with seeing how fast I could lose the weight. I knew my body needed a certain amount of calories to stay healthy, but since I hadn't seen any negative effects I kept going. I guess you learn the hard way. Anyway, once I started eating more calories it took my body awhile to realize there was a steady caloric intake so I was stuck on a plateau for almost three weeks. Now that I've let go some of the obsession, my weight loss is kicking in again. I might not lose 17 pounds in a month, but at least I won't be depriving my body of what it needs. With all that aside, I feel pretty good about how it's going. I've had a lot of comments from my coworkers asking how I'm doing it and how much I've lost. With me being only 4'9", 19 pounds looks like a lot more, which is fine with me. I actually had someone call me "Miss Skinny" yesterday, and that felt really good. I have 36 more pounds to lose to achieve my goal. Woohoo!
