Week 26 WI-Not a Liar Anymore

I was down 2 pounds this week to 160.4. This means that I ow weigh the same as I told the people at the DMV I weighed back in November. Delusional much? LOL Anyhow, I have just over 10 pounds to my "offical" goal, but I seem to be leveling off. Other than skipping the gym this morning (a girls gotta take a day off once in awhile!) I have been working out daily and have added more weights to my routine. I seem to be eating more,  and with that shake up I am really OK with things right now. The more I read though, the more I feel I should try to get below 150... 150 is the hiigh end of a healthy weight range for my height, I just picked it because I had never been near 150 and didn't think it was even possible. Now that I am close, and see how much fat there is hanging around, even with the muscles I have built up over the last several months, I may want to try to lose more. I know I keep going back and forth on this, but thats because I really don't know what I want yet. Like I mentioned before, I'm going to just keep on doing what I am doing and when my body stops for good it stops for good. I'm not going to deprive myself to get to 135 or something just so I can gain 15-45 pounds back when I get tired of eating on a resticted diet. :)

I'm gonna work on getting caught up with you all... it seems I was gone too long though, on my blog break, so hopefully you all are still around and doing well! Have a good weekend yall!

DMV

Oh my gosh - me too!  I have now am not lying to the DMV! LMAO

Drivers License weight

I think mine says the same thing it said when I got my license in 1984--like 132 lbs or something. They just roll it over every time. I'm glad to see you back! We've missed you here in Blogland. I think your strategy of just letting your weight level off naturally is a smart one. I think our bodies know when they're at a stopping place.

uncharted territory

I know exactly what you mean about wavering between wanting to lose more and not wanting to set impossible maintenance goals.  We are both set at the top of our healthy ranges as goals but when we're been heavier for a while . . . it's hard to know what's realistic.  Your approach sounds good--the hard part is figuring out when it's your body saying "enough" and when you just don't feel like doing this anymore.  You are still verymuch in this mentally, which I'm jealous of right now.

Yay for the drivers' license telling the truth!  Mine says 145 so I'm within a few pounds . . . do we get to call and make them lower it when we reach a stable lower weight? :)

been meaning to catch up...

I have bookmarked your blog a few times, meaning to write to you...ugh.  Anyway, how awesome that you are less than a pound away from a 60 lb loss!  SIXTY lbs.  That is a fantastic achievement! Your weight loss graph looks great - the steep slope downward is awesome.

Sounds like you are beating the "battle of the bulge" one workout at a time - you go girl.  Great job and don't forget to take a step back and realize how far you have come!!

Close to Home!

Ha!  My friends and I were just talking about Driver's License weights the other day and I was saying that I can't wait until my weight matches my license!  lol  How funny!  Glad to know I'm not alone!  Congrats on your loss!  You're doing super!!!!!

NY Licenses

Do not ask for a weight!! Thank God!! I think they used to, but not anymore! Glad that you are at the 160 mark and are knocking on the 150's door! How exciting!! I just got back from my weekend away with my girlfriends and seem to have gained 5 pounds!! So... I started Core this morning. I am trying my best to channel my inner Sara, to get me through!! Gonna print out those recipes you sent me!! You are kickin' ass!!! Almost made it to 60 pounds lost!! Fabulous! Have a fantastic week!
