Please move along if you don't want to hear me toot my own horn for a minute or three.
Over the past 3-4 days:
I threw on a pair of jeans to help the H in the yard and they were literally falling off of me. HUGE. When I looked they were a size 14 from ON that apparently had not become so swimming on me the last time I went through clothes. I could not get these pants past my thighs when I started. I thought I would never fit into them. Now they are HUGE on me.
I bought my fist pair of size 8 pants---ever. It was a sweet sweet feeling.
The size 10's that have become my favorite pair of jeans are really getting to be too big on me. I can just about get them off without unbuttoning them
I worked out everyday last week, and lifted weights 3 times. I was able to add weight to my reps for both my arms and legs.
At a family gathering on sunday I recieved a ton of compliments on my weight loss. Most everyone there had not seen me since christmas... almost 60 pounds ago.
Not eating things like cookies, candy, and other not-good-for me food is second nature. Even when I tell myself it's ok to have some, I remember how sugary it will taste, and opt not to have it anyway.
That's all I've got for today... hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Monday!

another compliment...
Hi...I think you deserve every single minute of gloating!!
You're such an inspiration. The dedication...time...effort...and most importantly will power.I just wanted to say congratulations and looks like you're heading into your last final lap. Will be following your progress.
In a couple of months....looks like you have to change the sub-title to 'mind is here...body has arrived!'

Soak it up!
I bet your family was stunned seeing you. Was your sister there at the gathering Sunday? It seems I recall you saying something months ago about wanting to be thinner than your sister. (If that's not you, sorry). I saw my mother Saturday for the first time since Christmas, and she was pretty surprised, but not to the point of gushing.
I can't wait until Thanksgiving holidays this year, when I'll see my Dad's family for the first time since dieting. Hopefully I'll be at goal by then.
So, how are you doing on the Arm Flab Front? I think mine's getting worse. The tighter my muscles get, the more the flab seems to separate and droop from the arm. Revolting! What's worked for you?
I think it was me who said she wanted to weigh less than her sis--mostly because she's taller than me, so it would make sense that way. But I digress. Your nsv list is fabulous! You should savor every bit of that and use it to fuel the last 14 lbs of losing. :)
You have absolutely so much to gloat over... and you DESERVE it all!!! You're in the final stretch! Can't wait to cheer you on!! :)
I know what you mean too about avoiding the sugary stuff. It is second nature to me. I had a cookie the other day and I thought I was going to be sick. Really truly. My tummy churned for hours. Ick. PLUS... I found a freaking zit on my face 2 days later!!!! ARGH!
