Before After

I have not drowned in a vat of FF Ranch

Just a quick not to let you all know I'm alive and well. I finally had to add up my calories for the day to shut myself up on Thursday. I am back in the land of the semi-sane now....Thanks so much for slaping some sense into me... I needed it. I will blame ToM. He is a little bastard, and you never know what he is going o come up with next. Maybe next month I will be afraid of water making me gain!

Seriously though, thanks for thinking I'm off my rocker,  but still having kind words for me... I really appreciate it! Now I am off to share some of the love!

Happy Monday!

Glad

you're back!!! We all have to act a little crazy during our weight loss!! You are doing awesome!! Keep at it, girl!!

ewwww....

Dood, if you're going to drown in a vat of ranch, it'd better be full on fat!  BTW, I need to tell you the funniest ranch related story.  A couple of years ago, some friends and I went over to this runaway shelter for teens in Oakland and made them dinner.  Good stuff - curry, Chinese food, japanese food, etc.  When they got their plates, even before tasting it, they poured ranch all over everything!  Curry!  Yuck!

But despite that, I looooooove ranch.

Welcome back.  We've missed you.  Hope that you've, er, resolved your bathroom sitch at work.

thanks

for pulling me back into sanity and reminding me to take care of myself!  I often get caught up in a "project," be it work or social or diet-realated, and lose why I'm doing it in the first place.  I'm still going to go for 140, but I think you're right that it's time to shift my focus to toning and being good to my body instead of depriving it for the sake of a measly 5 lb difference.  If it becomes clear that 145 is where my body wants to be, I'll definitely see the doc and get my excuse from the standardized weight ranges.

btw I was tooling around here for a few minutes last night and DF glanced over while I was at your page and said (with a level of tact I hope he shares only with me) "I thought this was a site for fat people--that girl looks fine to me." :)  So obviously you're doing something right!
