Disapearing Act numero Dos, and das Boot
It's been a crazy time round these parts the last couple of weeks. My FIL is remodeling our kitchen, which means we HAVE NO kitchen at the moment, The H was out of town for 4 days, which I took as a green light to scarf an entire pint of Ben and Jerry's (It was lowfat fro-yo, but STILL), and last and biggest of all, Das Boot was installed about a week and a half ago. It is a giant (but welsome) Pain in the Ass, and is doing nothing for my motivation or workouts... but my foot is improving, and I am at about the halfway point with it so I am confident that once I am through wearing it I will be in better shape to get back in shape, if you catch my drift. Even though I am only alowed to run "under supervision" after Das Boot is cleared for take-off.
I am going to make my best to stay a perminant fixture around here... I need you guys, as is evident by my eating habits and the numbers on the scale.

das boot is das solution?
I hope so! Did the docs ever figure out what was causing your pain? How much longer is das boot staying?
I'm sorry we didn't get to stop and see you on our trip. DH rightly said I was trying to squeeze too much in, and unfortunately T-town dropped off the list of things to do (along with lots of other stuff--don't think I didn't want to stop!). Next time . . . and there will be a next time, because we had a great time in Seattle.

Ouch!
The boot looks like it is painful and annoying to wear! What happened to your foot? I hope that it heals properly and you make a full recovery in record time! Yay for a new kitchen, Boo for the lack of kitchen right now! That must be hard to deal with too. On the bright side: it WAS Fro-yo!! Don't sweat it! You don't eat a pint of the stuff eveeryday! Glad that you are back!! I need motivation!! And all I have to do is look at your graph and pics to get that!

Boot
I hope that boot really helps you out. At least if you look on the bright side of things, you don't have to exercise for a while! Relax and just watch what you eat. A pint of B&J frozen yogurt is a lot to eat but it won't do as much damage as you think.
Plus you're maintaining.

Das Boot
Yanno, if you were here, I'd construct something to make das boot look a little prettier and funkier than well..just a boot. If nothing else it would make you smile to look at it
I think kitchen renovations are one of the toughest to go through, because it's one of the most used rooms in a house. I'm sure you'll love the heck out of your new one, and this temporary pain will be all worthwhile.
Very good to see you back!
