trouble is i like food. please comment.
recorded food again today. it's not very healthy! well, it could be worse, though. it has been worse. :) but i've accomplished day 3 of my 31 day vow. Is it possible to just get less interested in food and stop thinking about it so much? I remember in one of marilyn vos savant's columns (she's hte high-iq woman in parade magazine), she talked about the importance of doing things you didn't feel like doing. she said the only spontaneous ideas she got involved food. i laughed when i read that. i get lots of spontaneous ideas about work, puzzle solving, etc., but i also get a lot of spontaneous ideas about food. as in, "pizza would be great right now!" i also find that food is the one thing i'm really never too lazy to pursue. i'll cheerfully drive across town for a good bacon cheeseburger and seasoned fries. but there are lots of other appealing things i skip because it's just too darn much trouble to arrange. food, however ... at any rate the tasty food i really like. i'll go to a lot of trouble to get it. i would have made a good hunter-gatherer. always up for a grub expedition or a search for the juicy woolly mammoth.
