My last post here was 11 months. My how time flies. Of course, there is another mission---spring is right around the corner! So let's see what I can accomplish! -J
Well, I am back. I am glad to see that I didn't really sabotage my efforts from the last time. At least I didn't gain all back, didn't lose much more either. -J
I had been forgetting to check, but the chip time for doing the 5k some weeks ago was listed as 56.13. Not good but not bad. Considering it was my first time walking for the year, it was my 1st 5K and it was cold. As a matter of fact, at the 1/2way mark, it had started to snow.
Glad I did it. -J
...so far. I am still eating the things l like but within moderation and checking the nutritional value and points. I still am saying that I know that I could possibly lose more if I would just stick to it, but I know I am going to always do those things. So I would rather do what I do and incorporate better and more healthy things in my life as to eliminating it altogether.
2.2 more that I lost. Way to go! If all goes as planned, I want to do 2.8 so that I will be at my 5% goal. I am estastic about this. I know I can do it and if not, I will be VERY close to it! -J
Well, I lost part of the gain from last week. I was really hoping to break even but since I was not all the way good over the weekend, I got what was coming to me.
My neighbor and I did walk probably about 3 miles on last Sun. That was great. So between our work schedules, we should be able to fit about 3 days a wk in soon and with the nicer weather coming! I cant wait. Not my fav thing to do but it will do the job. -J
Well, I did it! The 5K went well. I would do another one. The clock said about 1.05 but I didnt go over the line until about 9 mins into the start, so I did it in less than 1 hour. I will have to wait and see what the actual results are in a couple of weeks.
I was worn out! I had went out the night before, got in at about 1:30a and then I woke up at about 7a (I was afraid of oversleeping, since I didnt set my alarm). No wonder I slept most of the afternoon away!
Nice experience. I think I will look for another one to participate in. I dont think I am ready for the next one, which is a 10K. -J
This was a horrible week and the scale showed it!
So one more week of the seasonal job and I should be able to concentrate on this and eat at decent and proper hours. The weather should be improving, so I will be able to walk.
I am still looking for a treadmill. I am so looking forward to spring! I need a dvd of exercise that doesnt look and feel like exercise! I know--no pain, no gain! Well, at least one that is fun to do and I would look forward to doing it. I hadnt found anything like that yet!
Back to the salads at dinner and more home cooked meals and leave the burgers alone. -J
I managed to lose in the short time frame that we had to change our w-i schedule. I had guests in and I was not good! Drinking over the 3 days, eating out. So I am too happy for the 1.2.
I hadn't seen one of my girlfriends for many months, so she came by on Sun. She gave me the best compliment--she thought I had lost 20 lbs! I was like, "I wish". Not many people know that I am doing WW and I intend to keep it like that until, everyone can see a noticable difference.
Well, the 5k is on Sat. This should prove interesting. I am calling it my breakthrough for walking. It is supposed to be COLD
. I hate walking in the cold. I wish the good weather we are to have today and tomorrow would just carry on minus the rain. It would be perfect! But of course, this shall be my challenge! -J
Well, I managed to do it! I guess I counteracted the badness that I did the past week. I saw a 1.4 loss. Yippee!!! I continue to say it week after week, I could have done better because I know what I have eaten with wild abandonment. But it wasnt total abandonment. I do watch the points but not carefully. Seems like I am not ready to go at it whole heartedly.
I have lost a total of 6 and got my 1st gold star today. The next challenge is they have to move our meetings for the next 2 weeks up to Tues. So that means next week we will WI in 5 days. But the better side of it on the 3rd week, we will have 2 extra days.
So for lunch, it was a salad, applesauce and 6 Girl Scout Cafe Cookies for a total of 11 pts! -J
