So... I'm eating these puffy veggie sticks that kinda taste like chips. And I like them. Also, since they aren't JUST potato... I'm not having as much starches as I would just eating potato chips. I found them at a store we have called "Thunder Bird" or also called "Sherms."
I got them when I went grocer shopping last night. I got things like bananas, oranges, salad stuff, veggie pasta, some organic corn cereal, soy milk... and few other things. I got done so late from shopping that I just had some of that cereal for dinner... and guess what? It had no sugar, and nothing else I can't have... and it was FLIPPING delicious. It tastes like peanut butter captain crunch! It was like heaven in my mouth compared to the bland stuff I've been eating.
Instead of doing the Jillian video last night Bri and I started planning a worship dance for church... and since that was minimal stuff we also ran laps in the church balcony. Up the stairs, around the top, down the stairs, around the bottom, and up again! It ended up being a pretty good workout before we were done! It was nice to let my weight lifting muscles from Jillian's video rest!
I had crazy dream last night that I really ended up marrying my Ex fiance. Just thought I'd throw that in. Haha!
Well... working out last night wasn't as good as usual. I kinda half-worked out and then didn't finish the video. I just wasn't motivated or anything. Plus I had dishes to do at home, and I wanted to get to bed early.
Today I had a banana for breakfast... and a side salad and baked potato with no butter or sour cream.
I think for dinner I shall have salad. However, I have store money, so I might do some grocery shopping and get stuff to make a vegan veggie soup.
Well, this is all coming along nicely! Yesterday was day 4 of my 30 day shred, and I almost did the entire level 1 without stopping which is a HUGE change from day 1 when I stopped a few times each cycle. I just love it. I get eager to do the video, and I work on it with my best friend Bri, so I love doing it.
One of the hardest parts for us is not stopping during the cardio sections, especially on the jump roping part... so as we just we just kinda chant... Size ten, Size ten, Size ten..... and it totally helps us not stop! (We both want to be a size ten by spring of next year.)
Something just feels really different about us working out this time. We'd planned it before, but we're actually sticking to it this time, and we're serious. It's different, and I love it!
Well, this is day 3 of my 45 day Daniel Fast... I did super awesome on sticking to my fast yesterday minus on tortilla.
Breakfast yesterday: Vitamins, water, an apple, and some banana chips.
Lunch yesterday: A small salad and some corn, water...
Dinner yesterday: Some potatoes and re-fried beans in tortilla (Yeah... that bad tortilla.)
So far today I've just had my vitamins, water, and an apple sauce cup. I'm planning a good sized leafy salad for lunch though! :) Yum!
Yesterday, I also started the 30 day shred with my best friend. :) Today I am sore, but it's an amazing feeling sore! I feel great! We're gonna shred today this afternoon as well! :D Woop Woop!
Well, I'm Tabbatha. I'm going to be breaking my bad habits, and building better habits with Jesus. :)
Today I start a 45 day Daniel Fast.
The Daniel Fast is in most respects a vegan diet, except with a few more stipulations.
I'll be avoiding: sugars, meats, dairy, yeast, caffeine, any drinks except for water and 100% fruit juices, processed anything, and most oils for 45 days.
During this time I'm depriving my body of the food it normally desires, so that I can break the habits of fast food, overeating, and unhealthy eating, while at the same time learning how to just better steward the body, time, and finances that the Lord has blessed me with.
I'm fasting for my weight, preparation for school, my church, my college group, my drama team, my family, and my friends. I'm just spending time lovin on Jesus while teaching my flesh to submit.
