Before After

This is INSANE!!

Brian and I are still in our Transformation Challenge.  37 days remain to finish.

Brian and I are also scheduled to run a 1/2 marathon in Denver this October. We have 58 days until that event.

oh yea...almost forgot...we just registered for the 10k at the Air Force Marathon this morning.  That race is scheduled for Sept. 19th.

Knowing all this, I need to face reality...

My weight has seriously plateaud (sp?) over the last several weeks.  I am still struggling with not losing in my legs and belly.  Not wanting to just kill my poor feet and knees running in these events, I needed something to help me kick things up a notch.  (or 10)

My dear friend Angela shared a link with me. After some serious consideration, we decided to give this new workout a try.  (thank you Angela)

The workout is called INSANITY by Shawn T.

It arrived this week, and let me just say it truly lives up to it's name!!

INSANITY  is unlike anything I've ever done.  Which is good.  Once in awhile, it's really good to mix things up a bit. To be honest, I don't think I've ever worked out like this before.  EVER!

Brian and I are doing it together, and the other day he had to pull me off the floor a couple times.

It's crazy, it's fun, and it's truly INSANE!!!

If this doesn't help me get over this plateau and lose this hiney,  there is seriously no hope for me.

thanks!

great tip!  i will check that out... looks right up my alley!

how exciting about the races!!! if your knees are bothering you try:
joint juice (haha i know, im only 21), but it seriously works!
i have had knee surgeries (pins and everything- consequences from my old lifestyle) and this stuff takes the pain right out of running.

YAY!

i just started it too!!

omg i am loving insanity i havent worked out this hard in i dont know how long or if ever.... i am hoping this does wonders for me as i have been off track all summer !!

Wow!

Looks truly insane!  Good luck finishing your challenge, the 1/2 marathon (Denver will be tough!  Get there early enough to get used to the thinner air!), and the move!  Think of me while your warm in sunny CA and I'm freezing in C-Bus!
