Before After

Assignment #1 of new challenge

On May 25th, I started a new TRANSFORMATION challenge.

It makes me very happy that I am doing this transformation at the same time as 5 other people who are very dear to me. It is much fun to be sharing this journey with folks you know.

This challenge is going well so far.  I am 11 days in, and finding myself becoming very productive.

Have done assignment #1 and #1b

Assignment #1 is posting a BEFORE picture.

This before takes it a step further as you are asked to write your feelings around that picture when you look at it.

Taking a before picture is critical.

The first time I did this back in January, I had a very different outlook than when I did this at the end of May.

This first picture was back in January.

I was ticked that I had worked so hard, and still looked like this.

I was hanging onto past disappointments, anger, resentment, etc...  You all might not have known that.  That's because I had become a master at "fake it till ya make it!"

Now...well...things are different.

I'm ever so grateful to be moving forward, letting go, and loving life.

Thank heavens this isn't my reality anymore.  This girl was kinda lost.

Even though my outward physical results weren't jaw dropping, the inward stuff is imeasurable.  I see myself differenty, and therefore found it very difficult to find negative things to think about this time around.

Don't get me wrong...there is PLENTY of work to be done.  It's just through the course of my last transformation, I dealt with some things through the assignments, and my spirit is lighter.  Much lighter.

Anyway...here is assignment #1

"Know Thyself, where thy stand, and where thy is going."

Here is assingment #1b, which is thinking about where you are going.

The actual assignment is to take a piece of paper, draw a box, and write all the things you will feel when you finish your 18 week challenge.

Everybody does it differently.  Mine looks like this.

I visualize my all-time-favorite Body-for-Life champion on a daily basis

Here is the "official" link to assignment #1.

Am loving Transformation, and loving having some friends on board.  It makes the journey just plain fun!!!

Will keep you posted.

I just took a peek at all the assignments to come, through the link you posted, looks very interesting. I know you'll do great!

Have a great day!

:)

Fabulous assignments!

And great to see your January before compared to this one!

hi

A nightguard is this tray like thing that fits over your bottom teeth. The idea is to keep the top teeth from being able to grind or clench the bottom teeth at night. Apparently, I clench my teeth in my sleep, because I'm sure not aware of my doing it doing the day, nor do I grind. The device is super uncomfortable to wear at night, but if it means preventing future dental work, then I'm all for it. I paid $300.00 for it about 5 years ago, so I guess I should put it to good use!!! I'm still freaking out over this upcoming procedure. Yes, pain meds are good! In moderation mainly because they give me an upset stomach.

I saw you over at transformation.com, and Steve, and Angela. I think its great for you all! Good luck on achieving your goals and transforming your mind and body!!

Hey there!

It's been a while since I've been here but you are positive and hard working as ever!

I love those assignments you did up there, makes me want to do it and I'm not even apart of the transformation!

Hope all is well w/you dear!

Whenever I need encouragement...

I can ALWAYS come to your page!!!  Good luck hun, keep up the good work as always

Awesome!

Oh my gosh that is so great. You're almost two weeks in and totally motivated, sticking to the plan.

Have a great weekend!
