I absolutely, positivily (sp?) LOVE receiving private notes in my EP inbox.  You all say some of the kindest things to me, and it truly warms my heart. 
 
HOWEVER, I have a problem replying to them. 
 
When I hit reply and start typing,  I can get a few sentences in, and this little circle shows up. It completely locks my computer up.  I can't continue typing.  I can't move forward in any way.  If there are other windows open I can't get to them, and I have to completely restart my computer. 
 
This ONLY happens on EP, and it only happens when I reply to a private message or try to reply to a comment.  The speed of my typing affects it too.  If I type normal, it locks up in a couple seconds. If I type one letter at a time, wait 2-3 seconds and type another letter, then it might take a couple minutes to lock up on me.  It doesn't happen 100% of the time either, more like 90- 95% of the time.
 
It's something that can't be explained.  I have asked, and it's been said that my computer might not have enough memory???  I don't know much about all that, but I do know that our computer is not only new, but it ONLY happens on EP. 
 
Which, that is not the point of this note.  I truly have accepted it, learned to work around it, and am moving on. 
 
The point of this note is to let the kind person know who contacted me this morning that I can NOT respond to your message.  I have started typing you a reply 5 times, and each time I get 5-6 sentences in it locks up on me.  Since you are new and don't have a page set up, I can't go there to contact you.  (which, I am glad you are here....  Welcome!)   
 
I would love to talk with you, but I can't through this avenue.  Until you get a profile page started, will you please contact my e-mail?

I have the same

I have the same problem at times.  It is very frustrating and time consuming.  I think it is a problem in their system.  I have just learned that when it starts it, I need to go do something else or I will lose my mind.  Sometimes, it seems to happen more if I use the "smilies".

Alicia who? Ohio where? What??? LOL Silly, of course I remember you and I haven't exactly been the best blog buddy either, so we're good. :)

Yea, I did remove all my pics. I was starting to worry that my family had found my blog and I just freaked out and deleted everything. I suppose I should add my pictures back in sometime....but I'm having a hard time remembering which ones I had there! I have to confess, I do kind of regret removing them, but I feel anonymous now, which is cool. I just have to be careful what I write.

OMG I loved TBL! This might seem weird, but I felt like they just didn't spend enough time spotlighting the final 3. I got to "know" them so well that I felt cheated in the end. The final weigh in part goes so quickly!!! I wish they talked to the final three a little bit at the end instead of just boom! Thats it! Its over! I loved Tara and really wanted her to win. I'm happy for Jerry, too!! He looks great...but maybe not all there in the head? :) He seems a little out there to me...?

I've used my kettlebell once so far and I'm finding it to be awkward to use. Its only 7 pounds so I either need another 7 pound one or a heavier one where both hand will fit. It just feels different that regular barbells, ya know? Its cute, though!

Understand

I for one understand your situation...most everyone knows the problems I have had in the past with the EP site....for a looooooooooooong time I could not even post on the site, now, most of the time my "cursor" looks like it is having a "quivering breakdown" and sometimes it types the letters and sometimes not!!  Hang in there...oh yes, I love all the new pictures.  Blessings, Chargail

Technical Issues

Alicia, here is how I work around the occasional snafus with the EP website.  I keep Word open while I read my messages.  I type them in Word and cut and paste them in my replies.  It requires a few extra steps but nearly always works without a problem. 
Good luck with the site, and thanks for continuing to provide ongoing inspiration = )
