Did Measurements Today!!! :-)

I am so excited!!! My P.T. took my measurements today and I am happy to say I am down 2 inches in my waist; 1.5 inches for the thighs; 1/2 inch for the biceps, but I can't say much for my rear end it's being stubborn! :-)

I am so proud of the progress I've made!!!!!!!!!!!! We're gonna make it ladies! Stick to it and have a wonderful day. Gotta run.

 

ZUMBA!!!

So, I went to my first zumba class today! It was great!!! I was a little off with the salsa part but I had a blast. I heard that you burn approximately 600-800 calories! Does anyone know if that's true or not? I am going to start going every Mon, Wed, and Fri and change my days with the P.T to Tues and Thur. I can finally commit to five days a week for sure (That's usually my goal any way...don't always make it). I will go in for measuring on either Mon or Wed. I forget which. Hoping to be down a least two inches. How everyone is doing great. Thank God that I am found EP! What great motivation we get here. God bless everyone.

 

Sick Again...What's Up?

I take it that this is a major attack from the enemy!!! So. I went to ER on thurs morning. I was so dizzy I couldn't do anything. I got up about 6:30am feeling kind of sick on the stomache, but I had to get up to take my little boy to school. I started ironing and felt really dizzy like I was going to just fall over. So, I sat down on the bed to scarf down some yogurt and apples (no time for a real breakfast). After about 5 minutes, I was still feeling bad and very nausea. Then, after about 10-15 minutes I called my niece, (she's 20) to help me with the kids. I have a 2 yr old and 3 yr old as well. Anyways, I ended up going to ER and come to find out, that I'm just bouting with a case of vertiago!!!!! Has anyone ever heard of that? It's when you feel like everything is spinning out of control and upside down... It's horrible. Nevertheless, it is common and I'm taking meds for it. Feeling pretty good today, a little dizzy, but nothing major. It should pass soon. So, again a damper on my workout sessions. Keep me in your prayers. This is the 3rd week that I have fought some kind of illness. But I'm keeping my head up and staying strong. Looking forward to Mondays workout with the P.T.

Finally back on my feet! YAY!!!

Oh my God! I was so sick last week! I couldn't do anything but stay in bed. It's strange it all started with a tooth ache; had a root canal... took some pain meds for three days. Then it was still VERY painful. Went back to the dentist. Found out it was totally infected, took antibiotics along with the pain pills...I became totally sick to my stomache!!! On top of that I had major sinus problems. I was in bed for 4 days (no exercising of course). And every time I had to take meds I had to eat, because it was too hard on my stomache. Well, I think that's it in a nutshell. I am feeling 90% better. I made it to the gym this morning. Got on the Elipitical machine for 25 -30 minutes; then worked out with the trainer for about an hour. I felt great afterwards. I hope all of the mothers had a very pleasant mother's day !!!

Personal Training Session!!!

So, I went to my first workout with the P.T. (personal trainer) It was great. She went over soooo many things. We worked out a nutrient plan (a sensible and doable one). I got on the scale...(ugh) and we took measurements (ugh ugh). She said from now on not too obsess with weighing myself, but focus on how my clothing fit. What a great idea! This way I won't get so stressed over the up and down thing with my weight. I am so glad I've decided to do this! I am ready for great results. I'll keep you posted.

Disneyland!

Just getting back from Disneyland! My husband and I took all three of our very small kids to Disneyland...ages 1yr. (2yrs on May 13); 2yrs. (3yrs in June) and 5yrs old.  The youngest one had several melt downs!! Or should I say, MAJOR MELT DOWNS!!!    Screaming, yelling, tantrums, the whole works! WOW! What a fun/stress time we had...

                         

                                         

 

 

As far as my eating went...it wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. I didn't overeat, but I did eat things I try to avoid when I'm home. So, there's that in a nut shell. Thank God I'm starting with the trainer on Monday! YAY! Looking for some GREAT results.  I hope everyone had a good weekend so far.

Weigh In

I got on that horrible scale today...I've gained the 3lbs back that I had lost. That's all I have to say for now.

Getting Ready for my Weigh In.... :(

I am little bit nervous about weighing in tomorrow! I went to the gym 3 times last week and did exercise at home. But I didn't exactly eat "perfectly" either! I have been eating all day today! I hate when I binge... I felt hungry... maybe it was just mental. I don't know. I just wanted to eat and eat and then eat some more. I was totally out of control today!!! That sucks! Well I will be back tomorrow with my results. 

 

What's With The Scale?

So, here's the thing. I see major changes in the way my clothes fit. They are getting too big! Yea!!! But, when I get on the scale it shows that I've hardly lost anything at all! What is the deal? One of my friends say that I should weigh myself at all, but how will I keep track of my weight loss? I thought weighing yourself once a week was the thing to do... Maybe there is something wrong with my scale at home. I will try weighing myself at the gym. Suggestions anyone...
