Computer Problems!!!

Just checking in, letting everyone I'm doing ok. Thanks for checking on me:-) All is well, I'm back down from the 2lbs I'd gained during vacation. Hope everyone is doing well!!! I'm looking forward to more weight loss 5lbs by Sept 4th. (small goals are good.....right?) Hopefully my computer will be fixed soon. God bless you all. Love ya much!!!!

Back From Vacation:-)

Well, it's been a while since I've blogged. I went to Palm Springs with the Fam... it was very very hot, but we had a pretty good time. My husband and I took all three of the little ones!!!!!!! It was a bit challenging, but we survived. Of course, there's not a whole lot to do there, but we still made the best of it. We went to see Kung Fu Panda at the IMAX Theatre. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and so did I. I think my husband was squeezing in a little nap. I completely understood. Having a 2, 3 and 5 y/o can be exhausting:-) Anyways, as far as my eating went...it actually went right out the door! I had cookies, ice cream, bbq ribs...It was delicious, but I gained 2lbs. But that's ok. I'm getting back on track. I can't let all of my hard work go to waste! I refuse to quit now, I've come to far! (Sounds like a pep talk? It is:-)

I hope everyone is doing well. I am so glad I am a part of EP!!!! This is one of the best things that could've happened to me. Thank you all for your support.

Happy 4th

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July celebration!! I sure did. I didn't do a whole lot, but my sister and her family came over it was nice. My eating..... well that's another story. We made pretty healthy food, chicken breast, turkey sausage, zucchini,corn on the cob all on the grill, plus collard greens (the healthy way, not southern) and pototao salad; which I think probably had the most calories. But I still over did it! For desert I made a fruit salad. Oh yeah, my brother-in-law bought soda.... However, I did go to the gym twice on Thurs maybe that balanced me out :-) Anyways, I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to ya later. God bless.

In the Beginning...

I was just remembering when I first set my mind to be healthy and lose weight, it was in March or maybe the ending of February. I wasn't real serious about it then, but I really began to crack down in April. I can't believe the progress I've made. I know it sounds like I'm bragging, but I think it's ok to pat yourself on the back once in awhile...right? :-) God is so awesome!!! If it wasn't for Him giving me the strength and the discipline to continue to strive for weight loss and for my overall good health, I wouldn't be able to do it! I have lost a total of 17lbs since I started out! Yaaaay!!! I just want to encourage you ladies to keep going, keep striving for your goal. You will succeed.

I decided to change my weight Log to reflect when I first started to lose weight instead of when I joined EP. I have 5 more pounds to lose for my first goal; then I will set another goal of 20lbs. Which will bring me to a weight of 140. That's my ideal weight. I am medium built, so that will look good on me:-) I think I can handle being a nice size 6. Not to thin and not too thick :-)

YAY!!!

OMG! I can't believe I've lost 4 more pounds! and finally 1.5 inches from my hips! My waist stayed the same, but that's ok. 1/2 inch from biceps... Eating has been pretty good. Except for on Sat. we took the kids to the beach, it was sooooo hot. I had a corn dog, french fries and my all time favorite ice cream... butter pecan. That was my only BIG cheat in two weeks. Not bad at all. Wishing everyone the absolute best! Keep up the good work ladies :-)

Weigh-In Results!!!

Well, I didn't accomplish my goal of 168lbs and 2 inch lose in my waist, but I did weigh in at 169 and a 1 inch lose in my waist....I better not complain @ least it's a lose and not a gain!!! YAY for me :-) I gotta run, taking the kids to the doctor today. Wishing everyone the best! God bless.

Getting Ready For Measurements and...

weigh-in tomorrow!!! I am kind of excited, but not sure where I stand. I think I've done pretty good. My husband had a business meeting in Los Angeles, so I went with him. My eating was just o.k. I didn't over indulge... Lucky for me they had a gym. So I worked out pretty good!!! Worked up a nice SWEAT all by myself. Yay me!!! I feel a bit bloated that's gonna suck when it's time to measure my waist. Ugh!!!!!!!! Oh well, what can I do. I will let you ladies know how much progress I've made. I really really really want to look decent in my bathing suit when we go to Palm Springs on July 11...... Maybe some of the butt dimples will be gone...ha ha ha :-) Oh come on I know I'm not the only one who has dimples in the hip and buttocks area.... RIGHT :-)  Talk to ya soon!

Personal Trainer Day

What a great workout I had today with the P.T.! One whole hour of sheer rigorous exercise. Worked the legs and worked up a good sweat! Can't ask for more than that !:-D As far as my eating goes, I've been doing ok. No real big mistakes. I had Chinese for dinner today. Not sure of the calories there, but that's about it. Well, guess I'd better go now. Talk to ya soon.

Did Measurements Today!!! :-)

I am so excited!!! My P.T. took my measurements today and I am happy to say I am down 2 inches in my waist; 1.5 inches for the thighs; 1/2 inch for the biceps, but I can't say much for my rear end it's being stubborn! :-)

I am so proud of the progress I've made!!!!!!!!!!!! We're gonna make it ladies! Stick to it and have a wonderful day. Gotta run.

ZUMBA!!!

So, I went to my first zumba class today! It was great!!! I was a little off with the salsa part but I had a blast. I heard that you burn approximately 600-800 calories! Does anyone know if that's true or not? I am going to start going every Mon, Wed, and Fri and change my days with the P.T to Tues and Thur. I can finally commit to five days a week for sure (That's usually my goal any way...don't always make it). I will go in for measuring on either Mon or Wed. I forget which. Hoping to be down a least two inches. How everyone is doing great. Thank God that I am found EP! What great motivation we get here. God bless everyone.
