6th Report

Well...after a few weeks hiatus I have returned to the program. I was down to 217 and fairly disappointed that I had not lost more. Then during the week preceding the wedding I basically went off my diet and exercise program. That carried into the next week where I ate wedding cake and left over food like it was going out of style. I felt horrible and all clogged up all week long. Then we went on the honeymoon and, while I ate fairly healthy I was still way off target. I returned from the honeymoon weighing in at 224. I've spent this week getting back into the swing of things.

5th Reporting Period

Today marks 3 days running that I have weighed in under 220. Hopefully the trend will continue. My next posted picture will be when I hit the 215 mark and then every 15 pounds after that. The funny thing is that my measurements have not changed much at all. I suppose when your totally overweight and out of shape you can lose some pounds but not have it take any physical shape. Well...not yet at least. I have gotten stronger and I have noticed a significant increase in my physical ability. I have been running and cycling nearly everyday. I need to keep up the pace and cycle even more consistently.

4th Reporting Period

Today I weighed in at 219.5. Not too bad considering I was off this weekend at my bachelor party. We did manage to play a round of golf in 115 degree weather. That may be why I did not put back on everything that I have lost to date. I've switched my cleanse days to Mondays. It seems that the weekend is when I am most likely to stray away from the diet. However, since I have kicked the majority of unnecessary sugar out of my diet I have noticed that I can't stand to eat or drink some of the things I used to crave. Coke is a great example. It used to be a pure joy to drink a coke. "The most delicious substance on earth." But now, I can't even take two sips. It's just too sweet.

3rd Reporting Period

Well not much changed this week. However, I did not gain and I think that I am now under the 225 barrier that so plagued me before I started on the Isogenix plan. On a side note this is the lightest I have weighed since I returned from France 2 years ago. This week has seen me on my bike. I rode 20 miles on Monday and plan to do the same later today. My goal is 100 miles a week building up to 150 a week by summers end. This week the goal is to be under the 220 barrier hopefully for good.

2nd Reporting Period

Well this is about the 20 day mark of my new program. My measurements are about the same as before, however, my weight is down a few pounds. On my cleanse days I really crave carbs. It's almost funny, looking at how much I was overeating and just plain eating the wrong things. I did not have the energy drains this week as much as last week so that is an advantage. During this next cycle I really have to focus and streamlining an exercise program.

1st Reporting Period

So this week has been a bit strange. Last week I had heaps of energy and rarely felt the need to snack or even felt hungry for that matter. The Isogenix plan seemed to be working and I was on my way toward reaching my weekly weight goals. This week though, I have been totally hungry and craving snacks and without much energy. Yesterday I came home from work and crashed for 2 hours on the couch. I think that its been due largely to stress. I also have not been drinking much water. Not as much as I am supposed to. I think that has been a part of it as well. I did lose a half inch off my waist so that was good news.

Keeping Track of Myself

Well this is where I will keep track of my goals and measurements and such. So far, so good. The Isagenix program seems to be working which is great. I tried so many other things and nothing, and I mean nothing, worked. I will try and keep this updated every ten days or so with comments as I progress toward my goals. I will also keep a daily tab on my weight.

Good Luck!
