Before After

But I don't wanna stay the same!

Gah! I thought I did pretty well this week--but I see the graph line going straight instead of down. I totally stayed the same. *grumble grumble* Right to the decimal point. I even walked for 5.5 hours yesterday. I decided to even do my measurements and they are the same too. BO-RING. I'm going to try and not let it get me down...I mean, I've been doing pretty well so far...but I was hoping to be that weirdo that the pounds just slid off like magic. I felt skinnier today too. Oh well. No worries. I have a feeling maybe I got off track abit and didn't QUITE stick to my normal regiment. Or maybe I need to finally start going back to the gym I'm almost better from the crash, so I'm sure going back won't kill me. Silly scale. I won't take a baseball bat to you just yet, for next week I'll be a LOSER! (pun obviously intended)

Its Ok I Promise

When I was reading your blog tonight I thought about myself the whole time. I so feel your pain. I went to the gym today to try to kick it up so that I could lose more than a pound or two this week. I came home and weighed myself only to find out that I gained weight at the gym. How in the world? You are awesome for walking that long! Re-measure yourself in a day or two and you most likely will see a difference. Keep your head up and great job. You are rockin and rollin...remember it doesnt just fall off. (I know we all wish it did)

Mel

me too

I stayed the same this week too.  But it is better than the graph going up, right?

Plateaus happen

Thanks for your comment in my blog. I honestly find the bad-body-image issues much harder than changing my habits. It would be fabulous to get rid of them for once and for all.

As for plateaus - they happen. I am on one right now. The body just takes time to adjust and try and give itself a break, so the trick is to stay on track and not get frustrated and throw in the towel. You will start losing again soon and it will be like the plateau never happened. We can be plateau buddies if you want.

Heya

Dude my arrow went up :(

Can I borrow your baseball cap?! lol

Staying the same is bloody frustrating, but as long as you keep at it and work hard you'll "break on through to the other side"

RIP Jim Morrison.

5.5 hours of walking! My God i'm tired just thinking about it o_0

xox

just checking in

Just checkin in to see how your week is going!

Dont worry!

Dont worry if you arent losing weight at every weigh in. Especially if you are walking and working out as much as you are. With that much activity, you could be and may be gaining muscle - which weighs MORE than fat. Its ok though! That muscle eats the fat. Your work out sounded awesome! I wish I had time for a 5 hour walk. I bet that was nice! Cute pic too! :-)

HUGS!

I feel you...

I know just what you mean. You feel and you know your doing everything right, we all have slips and not everyday or week is a great one. I had to learn that i cant always expect to lose weight. Heck, i have gained weight two times during my weight loss. But its those things that let us learn in life. Your body is proably getting used to what is going on. Keep up the good work!

don't forget...

... if you've been working out, that muscle weighs more than fat!  The numbers are there as a guide, but don't be a slave to them.  Its all about how you feel!

keep on going

i have learned not to get upset over the scale, it i so unpredictable.  as long as you keep on trying, the weight will come off.  what have you got to lose? keep up the great work and dont give up.  you can do this
