The heat is on
only 12 days till my birthday and my goal of reaching 105kgs is tantalising close. Just starting running into the exercising regime. It seems to be moving some of the fatty deposits around the thighs. Viva de 2007 !!!

Happy New Year 2007! I had a very successful Christmas holiday period, losing 2.7 kgs and getting into the gym regularly. Having now dropped below 110kgs I have reset my target weight from 105kgs to 94kgs. This is going to involve some significant new initiatives to change. So I am off to see my specialist next week to formulate a plan. The gym is going well and the encouragement from friends and family as well as from my jock/gym site is really great.
Here we come two figure living.
Had a lapse at the end of the last week, went weak at the knee and consumed a McDevil's chocolate sundae. I confessed to the Boss, felt very ashamed really. The lesson.... if the cravings hit eat a piece of fruit first. The other lesson ....keep the stock of fruit replenished.
Still on target for 105kgs by Christmas, in fact I may revise that to 100kgs, will update you on that later. I have started to run at the gym now. Certainly gets the heart rate up faster. I am not too sure if it is that great for the joints etc. I am taking Omega 3 fish oil, which my internet research says is good for the joints when the body is morphing and also adds the skins elasticity when contracting to the new shape.
Heading up north to Paul’s parents Monday – Wednesday next week should be nice. I am also heading down to Wellington Mid October. Musica Sacra the choir Paul is in is performing at the St Paul’s Anglican cathedral. Check it out www.musicasacra.org.nz

Well spring is finally here. Still plugging away at the gym, been stuck at about 115kgs for a couple of weeks, But I am still noticing a reduction in the fat/muscle ratio. With the warmer weather it is a bit easy to think fruit too.
Been working on my new lifestyle for two months. So far the results have been positive with my weight at the start of May at 129.8kgs and as of today I am down to 120.5kgs. I have mainly been eating less (thanks to Duromine /Phentermine), exercising more with a minimum of four workouts a week at the gym and this activity has helped me build up more lean muscle mass and burn fat (added by Metformin).
Although I am not calorie counting I have in my cardio sessions aimed to burn 700 calories within one session (pne hour).
