14.2 pounds so far (but that's a weigh after eating...   still, if I'm showing weight loss after a meal, that's good).

I finally got a scale of my own, but don't worry, Bethy...   I'll be over still.   :)

Doctor visit

Went to the doctor today.

いい:

  • cholesterol's good
  • sodium is good
  • glucose is good
  • so, most things are good
悪い:
  • fatty liver
  • small lesion on liver is indeterminate
  • HL Cholesterol is  about 10 points too low
  • LDL Cholesterol is about 41 points too high
I  guess the cholesterol isn't too bad.  It can be helped well enough with the right dieting (I'm eating oatmeal every morning -- that should help, ね?).  The diet should help the fatty liver, too.   Doc thinks that the small lesion that was seen could possibly be just something from the fatty liver, so I'm not too worried.  Yet.

Good news!

Just weighed in...    I'm down to 305.8, which means I've lost 4 pounds since I've started.

I deserve a huge steak dinner for that...

Well, I knew my sis told me that people would come swarming, but I didn't expect 16 people to comment so soon!

Anyways, I'm keeping pretty good to the diet.   I never was a huge eater to begin with, it's just I was eating a lot of the wrong things.   I always got the daily intake of calories in the time span of one meal.   So, it's only a matter of changing what I eat, not quite as much the amount I eat (though that's changing, too).

I've been at 1,500 to 1,800 calories the past few days.   Haven't quite got into a regular exercise routine, but I'm sure with warmer weather coming, I'll be a bit more motivated to do that.

I'm the brother of Bethany.  She's the one that brought me here.

That and the fact that I just need to start losing some weight and being healthy for a change.   Taking a bit of a toll on me so far changing my diet so dramatically, though.
